HomeMy WebLinkAboutDecember 12 1 PATHWAYS COMMITTEE Regular Meeting Minutes December 13, 2021 at 6:30pm Roll Call: Bob Elson, Melissa Dyrdahl, Val Metcalfe, Bridget Morgan, Richard Partridge, Sonja Wilkerson, Laura Bailey were present Minutes Oct 26, 2021 approved – unanimously Ex Parte Communications – none Project Updates – Bob reviewed the attached doc from Town Staff GIS Update – Bob reviewed latest maps. Pathways system is 64% completed. Current walkable paths total over 71 miles. Committee members should review their segments on the Lynksys map to verify accuracy. Poop on Pathway – no update New Business 1. Need PWC member to take over the property evaluations from Val – Laura Bailey volunteered 2. Associate Membership – Bob recommended Val as an Associate Member. Melissa seconded, approved unanimously. 3. Naming of Off-Road Pathway – recommended by Kit Gordon, a pathway between Buena Vista Dr and Central Ave to be named the Art Lachenbruch Pathway in honor of Mr. Lachenbruch, an influential town planning director and long time LAH resident. Moved by Melissa, seconded by Alisa, approved unanimously. Property Review a. 13830 Page Mill Rd – Melissa moved, Sonja seconded, Alisa recused, approved unanimously b. 11640 Buena Vista Dr – Alisa moved, Melissa seconded, approved unanimously c. 26405 Ascension Dr – Alisa moved, Melissa seconded, approved unanimously d. 12187 Kate Dr – Alisa moved, Melissa seconded, approved unanimously 2 Ongoing Business Nothing new to report. Presentations from the Floor Cindy Wenigh has additional questions about the pathway on her property. She is concerned about having an irrigation spigot that could perhaps pose a hazard for horses. She is also concerned about bikes. Carol Gottlieb – asked about status of Summerhill paths. Linda Swan – asked about future pathway goals. Reports from Other Meetings - none Promotions & Communications a. Two walks are scheduled (a 2.2 mile walk and a 5.6 mile walk) for New Year’s Day at 1:00 pm starting at the Baseball Field on Purissima Rd. Parks and Rec will be promoting the walks.
