RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT
TO DESIGNATE THE SYSTEM LOW CARBON FUEL STANDARD (LCFS) CREDITS
TO POWER FLEX IN EXCHANGE FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGERS,
SERVICE, AND OPERATION FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS.
WHEREAS, The Town Hall EV Charger project proposes to install two (level 2) single port
chargers and one (level 2) dual port charger in order to meet the growing demand in the Town
for EV Chargers.
WHEREAS, The Town has considered two EV Charger vendors: Chargepoint and PowerFlex.
WHEREAS, The Town presented the option of Chargepoint, PowerFlex, and PowerFlex with
designation of LFCS to PowerFlex, and the EIC committee decided on a motion to support the
choice of PowerFlex with designation of LFCS to PowerFlex.
WHEREAS, City Council, will approve the designation of LFCS to PowerFlex.
NOW, THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, ORDERED AND FOUND by the City
Council of the Town, State of California, as follows:
1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct.
2. The following Agreement designating the Low Carbon Fuel Standard Credits to
PowerFlex between Town of Los Altos Hills and PowerFlex shall be made.
The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of
Los Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on 18th of August 2022 by the following vote:
AYES: Tyson, Swan, Mok, Schmidt, Tankha
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
