HomeMy WebLinkAbout82-22RESOLUTION 82-22 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT FOR TOWN HALL PAINT, CARPET, AND FINANCE ROOM REMODEL PROJECT WHEREAS, the Utility Engineering Manager did duly examine and consider all bids submitted to it for the construction of the Town Hall interior renovation project; and WHEREAS, the Utility Engineering Manager recommends that the project be awarded to L C Builders, Inc. in the amount of $155,000; and WHEREAS, the Utility Engineering Manager recommends that funds of $60,000 be made available for construction contingency; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills that; 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract for $155,000 to the above- named firm on behalf of the Town of Los Altos Hills for the Town Hall Paint, Carpet, and Finance Room Remodel project. 2. The Public Works Director is hereby authorized to approve potential contract change orders in an amount not to exceed $60,000. 3. Approve appropriation in the amount of $26,704 from the unreserved General Fund, for a total project cost not to exceed $215,000. The remaining amount of $188,296 will come from the available balance of $250,000 ARPA funds allocated in the 2022-23 Operating Budget for Town Hall Furniture and space upgrade The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 15th day of September 2022 by the following vote: AYES: Tyson, Swan, Mok, Schmidt, Tankha NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None 7 BY: - o --�'" George Tyson, yor ATTEST: Deborah Padovan, City Cleric Resolution 82-22 Page 1
