property owners prior to the meeting but not received any response.
Public Comment
None.
Chair Patel closed the PUBLIC HEARING.
Discussion
Vice-Chair Indaco expressed concerns about the variance request, noting that there
was available space for an addition within the building envelope.
Commissioner Waschura expressed general support.
Commissioner Smith expressed general support for the project, noting that the design
was integrated with the existing house and would be of minimal impact to the
neighbors.
Commissioner Couperus expressed general support for the project, noting that the
addition design blended in with the current neighborhood, even though it was
requesting a setback variance.
Chair Patel spoke about a different project on Manuella and how it compared to this
one. He felt the two projects had very similar issues and was in favor of allowing the
variance for this project based on the Planning Commission's decision on the earlier
project.
