RESOLUTION 51-23 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS APPROVING AN AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE AGREEMENT WITH BEAR ELECTRICAL SOLUTIONS, INC. FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES TO EXTEND THE TERM ONE ADDITIONAL YEAR WHEREAS, on July 1, 2017, the Town entered into a multi-year agreement with Bear Electrical Solutions, Inc. for the on-going traffic signal preventative maintenance and repair services of three Town traffic signals, two radar feedback signs, and as -needed electrical services at Town facilities for a not to exceed amount of $20,000 per year; and WHEREAS, the service agreement with Bear Electrical Solutions expires on June 30, 2023; and WHEREAS, Bear Electrical Solutions has provided responsive and satisfactory maintenance and repair services for the agreement term and maintained the same cost rates for the past six years without escalation; and WHEREAS, to continue services for one additional year, Bear Electrical Solutions proposed increasing their rates by ten percent per the fee schedule for Fiscal Year 2023-24; and WHEREAS, the annual agreement limit for FY2023-24 would be maintained at $20,000. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills approves and authorizes the execution of Amendment No. 1 to the agreement with Bear Electrical Solutions for traffic signal preventative maintenance and repair services to extend the term one additional year and not to exceed $20,000.
