HomeMy WebLinkAbout64-24RESOLUTION 64-24 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS ACCEPTING THE 2024 PAVEMENT REHABLITATION AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AS COMPLETE, AUTHORIZING FINAL RETENTION PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR, AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO FILE NOTICE OF COMPLETION WHEREAS, on May 16, 2024, the City Council approved the Plans and Specifications for the 2024 Pavement Rehabilitation and Drainage Improvement Project; and WHEREAS, on July 18, 2024, the City Council adopted a resolution awarding the contract to O'Grady Paving, Inc. for $1,227,238.50; and WHEREAS, the project was completed according to the Plans and Specifications on October 25, 2024; and WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council accept the project as complete and authorize the remittance of the 5% percent retention 35 days following project acceptance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills that: Section 1. The 2024 Pavement Rehabilitation and Drainage Improvement Project is accepted as complete, and the appropriate officer of the Town is authorized to make final payment. Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to file with the County Recorder of Santa Clara County, notice of the completion of said project within ten (10) days from the date of this Resolution. The resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on 21 st day of November 2024 by the following vote: AYES: Mok, Schmidt, Swan, Tankha, Tyson NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None TTEST: a Miller, City Cler
