HomeMy WebLinkAbout77-24RESOLUTION 77-24 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS APPROVING A TIME EXTENSION OF AN APPROVED BUILDING PERMIT FOR A REMODEL OF MAIN RESIDENCE & POOL HOUSE; MINOR ADDITION W/ADU (LANDS OF COHEN ELI TRUST) WHEREAS, the Cohen Eli Trust ("Owner") owns the property commonly known as 26759 Shady Oaks Court, Los Altos Hills, California (APN 175-32-034); and WHEREAS, the building permit (# BLD19-0212) for a remodel of main residence & pool house; minor addition w/ADU were issued on November 5, 2019, with reasonable conditions of approval; and WHEREAS, the building permits expired on November 5, 2021, as the Town has adopted a Construction Time Limits Ordinance and, pursuant thereto, sets an expiration date for Building Permits for new dwellings and remodels with additions with a project valuation between $250,001 and $500,000 at twenty-four (24) months; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Construction Time Limits Ordinance, the City Council has the authority to grant reasonable extensions of time for Building Permits that have expired; and WHEREAS, the Town generally grants time extensions of one (1) calendar year; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does hereby approve on behalf of the Owners, a one (1) year Time Extension of approved Building Permit (#BLD 19-0212). The above and foregoing Resolution passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 19th day of December 2024, by the following vote: AYES: Mok, Schmidt, Swan, Tankha, Tyson NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: C Startle , 14 ATTEST.
