HomeMy WebLinkAbout515 • • ORDINANCE NO. 515 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AMENDING THE ZONING MAP TO APPLY THE ZONING DESIGNATION OF R-A (RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL) ON APPROXIMATELY 12.79 ACRES OF LAND AT THE END OF LA LOMA DRIVE BOUNDED BY THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS TO THE WEST,NORTH,AND EAST WHEREAS, Section 10-1.306 (Prezoning adjoining unincorporated lands and zoning annexed lands) of Article 3 (Establishment of Districts and General Provisions) of Chapter 1 (Zoning) of Title 10 (Zoning and Site Development) permits certain lands located within unincorporated territory to be prezoned by amending the Zoning Map for the Town of Los Altos Hills in order to include such land in a zoning district category; and WHEREAS,the City Council wishes to amend the Town of Los Altos Hills Zoning Map in order to prezone certain property commonly referred to as the "La Loma Drive Area," as more particularly shown in Exhibit A, hereto, to the R-A(Residential-Agricultural) Zone; and WHEREAS, designating the "La Loma Drive Area" as the R-A (Residential- Agricultural) Zone is consistent with the Town's General Plan designation for the subject area for residential development and no change to the current General Plan designation is proposed. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does ORDAIN as follows: 1. AMENDMENT OF ZONING MAP. The Town of Los Altos Hills Zoning Map is hereby amended to prezone that certain property shown in Exhibit A, hereto, to the R-A (Residential-Agricultural) Zone. 2. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW. The Council adopts a negative declaration having determined the adoption of this ordinance will not have a significant effect on the environment. 3. EFFECTIVE DATE; POSTING. This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days from the date of its passage, and shall be posted within the Town of Los Altos Hills in three (3)public places.
