RESOLUTION 21-13
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
ESTABLISHING A PREFERENTIAL PARKING AREA
(Tepa Way)
WHEREAS, the residents of at least fifty-one percent of the developed frontage on Tepa
Way, Los Altos Hills submitted a petition to the Town requesting the establishment of parking
controls to address the extensive utilization of Tepa Way for ancillary parking by hikers of the Mid

WHEREAS, such regular use of Tepa Way for ancillary parking by nonresidents prevents
the residents of Tepa Way from being able to park vehicles on their street during certain periods of
the day and also creates safety issues due to littering and loitering by hikers; and
WHEREAS, on February 19, 2004 the City Council adopted an ordinance ("Preferential
Parking Ordinance") which authorizes the Council to establish preferential parking areas by
resolution and the Council has determined that a preferential parking area is appropriate for Tepa
Way;
