Home My WebLink About53-03 IIP • RESOLUTION NO. 5 3—03 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS SUMMARILY VACATING AN EASEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES (Lands of Owen) WHEREAS, the Town owns a 10-foot sanitary sewer easement ("Easement"), as described and depicted in Exhibit A to this resolution, over a portion of that property commonly known as 24905 La Loma Court, Los Altos Hills, California; and WHEREAS,the Easement was originally dedicated to the Town on July 25, 2001; and WHEREAS, the Easement has not been used for the purpose for which it was dedicated; and WHEREAS,the City Council is authorized by Section 8333 of the California Streets and Highways Code to summarily vacate a public service easement if such easement has not been used for the purpose for which it was dedicated for the past five consecutive years; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does RESOLVE as follows: The Town hereby vacates and abandons the Easement under the authority of Section 8335 of the Streets and Highways Code and, from and after the date this Resolution is recorded, the Easement no longer constitutes a public service easement.
