RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
ACCEPTING DEDICATION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY
(Lands of Urban West LLC)
WHEREAS, Urban West LLC ("Owners"), the owners of the property commonly
known as 12085 Hilltop Drive, Los Altos Hills, California; and
WHEREAS, Section 10-2.1202 of the Los Altos Hills Municipal Code ("Code")
authorizes the Planning Director or Planning Commission to require dedication of a right-of-way
of sufficient width to conform to current Town standards whenever a site development permit is
requested for a lot which was created prior to January 1, 1973 and where the driveway or
contiguous road rights-of-way are substandard; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 10-2.1202, Owners have offered to dedicate a certain
portion of their property to the Town for right-of-way purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that acceptance of the right-of-
way dedication satisfies the requirements of the Code and serves an important public purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
RESOLVE as follows:
The Town hereby accepts on behalf of the public the dedication of the right-of-way
described and depicted in Attachment A hereto; and that the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute the Dedication on behalf of the Town.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of
Los Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 20th day of September, 2012 by the following
vote:

THIS DEDICATION is made this P4 day of a1/440,4- , 2012, by Urban West
LLC ("Owners"), the owners of the property located at 185 Hilltop Drive, Los Altos Hills,
California, to and for the benefit of the Town of Los Altos Hills, a municipal corporation
("Town").
Section 1. Owners do hereby offer to dedicate to Town for street purposes that
portion of the real property situated in the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State
of California as described and depicted in Exhibit A attached hereto ("Dedication").
Section 2. The Town hereby accepts this Dedication.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION FOR STREET DEDICATION TO TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLLS
OVER LANDS OF URBAN WEST, LLC
12085 HILLTOP DRIVE
LOS ALTOS HILLS, CALIFORNIA
Situate in the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California.
Being a portion of the lands conveyed to URBAN WEST LLC, by Deed dated November 07, 2011
and recorded November 15, 2011 as document number 21421375, Official Records, Santa Clara
County Records, and
Being a portion of Lot 1 as shown and delineated on that certain Tract Map entitled"Tract No. 1535,
Portion of Lot B— Hale Ranch" filed for record on April 24, 1958 in Book 92 of Maps at Page 50,
Santa Clara County Records, and being more particularly bounded and described as follows to wit:
Beginning at a found 3/4" iron pipe in the western boundary of said lands of URBAN WEST LLC,
as said 3/4" iron pipe is shown and delineated on that certain Tract Map entitled "Tract No. 6069,
Wild Barley Hill" recorded on August 30, 1977 in Book 403 of Maps at Pages 5 through 7, Santa
Clara County Records, from which the center line of Barley Hill Road (shown as Wild Barley Road
on said Tract Map) bears southwesterly 25.00 feet distant, measured at right angles to said
centerline.
Thence from said point of beginning and parallel with the center line of said Barley Hill Road
South 73° 54' 22" East 231.46 feet to a point on the eastern boundary of lands of URBAN WEST
LLC, said point being on the western line of Hilltop Drive, as said Drive is shown on the
aforementioned Tract Map No. 1535; thence along the eastern boundary of said lands of
URBAN WEST LLC and the western line of said Hilltop Drive, along a curve to the left from a
tangent bearing of South 7° 39' 53" East, a radius of 130.00 feet through a central angle of 5°
20' 53" and an arc length 12.13 feet to the southeastern corner of said lands of URBAN WEST
LLC; thence along the southern boundary of said lands North 74° 14' 00"West 238.18 feet to
the southwestern corner thereof; thence along the Northwestern boundary of said lands North
22° 16' 38" East 12.29 feet to the point of beginning.
