Home My WebLink About49-02 • • RESOLUTION NO. 49-02 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS INITIATING PROCEEDINGS AND SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING VACATION OF A PUBLIC PATHWAY AND TRAIL EASEMENT WHEREAS, an easement ("Easement") for an off-road pathway and trail was dedicated to the Town of Los Altos Hills for equestrians and pedestrians along the northern boundary of the property at 27125 Taaffe Road (APN: 182-47-008), ("Property") in March of 1986 over a portion of Lot 1, Tract 3844 (Book 211 of Maps at page 10); and WHEREAS, the Town has received a request to vacate the Easement; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found, pursuant to California Government Code Section 65402, that the proposed vacation of the Easement would conform with the Town's General Plan as recommended to be amended by the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council has amended the General Plan to eliminate the Easement as shown on the Master Path Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to set a public hearing to consider vacation of the Easement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does RESOLVE that pursuant to California Streets and Highways Code, Division 9, Chapter 3, Section 8320, et seq., the Town hereby sets a public hearing for May 16, 2002 at the hour of 6:30 p.m. in the Town's City Council Chambers,, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, CA to consider the vacation of the Easement shown on Exhibit A hereto. • PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of April , 2002.
