RESOLUTION NO. 80-01
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
DESIGNATING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACT
AS AGENT ON BEHALF OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
FOR OBTAINING FEDERAL AND STATE DISASTER ASSISTANCE
WHEREAS,the Federal Government and the State of California provide
financial assistance to local governments for disaster assistance, and
WHEREAS,procedures established by the Governor's Office of Emergency
Services require the Applicant's Governing Body to designate by resolution the
applicant's agent for applying for said funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
RESOLVE as follows:
1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute for and in behalf of the
Town of Los Altos Hills, a public entity established under the laws of the
State of California, this application and to file it in the Office of Emergency
Services for the purpose of obtaining certain federal financial assistance under
P. L. 93-288 as amended by the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and
Emergency Assistance Act of 1988, and/or state financial assistance under the
Natural Disaster Assistance Act.
2. That the Town of Los Altos Hills, a public entity established under the laws of
the State of California, hereby authorizes its agent to provide to the State
Office of Emergency Services for all matters pertaining to such state disaster
assistance the assurances and agreements required.
