Chairman Mueller called the Meeting of the Environmental Planning Commission
to order, in the Council Chambers of the Town Hail, at 7:55 P.'%

Commissioner Carico stated the !Iinutes of December 5, 1973, should read
the "Public Hearing on December 12, 1873", and "discussion he heti on
these at the December 12 'le.eting", not December 9 as currently in the
P1i nutes .
Motion was made by Commissioner SPENCER, seconded by Commissioner YOUIr,
the "1inutes of December 5, 1973, be approved as amended. "lotion was car-
ried with Commissioner Perkins abstaining.

Plannino Consultant :fader stated the lar; requires both the Planning
Commission and tSe City Council to hold a public hearing prior to
adopting the Revised General Plan for the Town of Los Altos Hills,
which should be adopted by January 1, 1^74. "hen a.ionted, the Pe-
vised General Plan will supersede prior general Plans. The Appen-
deces referred to in the Ger.eral Plan are not hart of the Plan
and do not need to be adopted with the General Plan.
Mr. Mader reviewed the naterial covered in thn Appendeces and showed
slides of the naps covered in the General Plan and the areas involved.
Assistant Planning Consultant Vlasic reviened the revised pages of
the General Plan. -i-
Discussion followed between the Planning Consultant and the Planning
Commissioners.
�►' City Hanager Lawson read a letter received from the League of '!omen
Voters, concerning the General Plan.
Speaking from the audience concerning the General Plan and proposed
revisions were George Purham, David Dellucci and Robert Stutz.
!"otion was made by Commissioner SPENCER, seconded by Commissioner
PERKINS, the public hearing be closed. "lotion was unanimously ap-
proved.
Motion was made by Commissioner SPE!CEP., seconded by Commissioner
MUELLER, the General Plan, as modified, by submitted to the City
Council. !lotion was unanimously approved.

Chairman 1!ueller declared a recess at 9:50 PiU% and reconvened the meeting

26, 1973, be cancelled due to the Christmas holiday, and the next
regular meeting be scheduled for January 0, 1974. Motion was un-
animously approved.

Chesarek and Hay,+ard be scheduled for January 9, 1474. lotion was

�, ision for Dawn Ridge Estates, stating a field trio had peen held on
December 5, by the City Engineer, the applicant's engineer, a rep-
resentative of the Flood Control District, two adjacent property
owners, and himself, to review the drainage problems, and showed
slides pointing out the problems.

Ar. Hetzel, Engineer for the applicant, spoke requesting the Com-
mission accent the Subdivision 11ap, stating if the Commission did
not accept the Maa, the applicant would request t!ie matter he con-
tinued until the meeting of January 9, 1974. He also stated some
of the solutions vhich might be used to solve the drainage problems.
After discussion between the Commission an" lir. fletzel, potion was
made by Commissioner SPENCER, seconded by Commissioner PERKI'!S,
this matter be continued to the ;Meeting of Januar/ % 1971. 'lotion
was unanimously approved.

'ir. 'iurphy, Engineer for the applicant, reviewed plans for the sub-

John Clegg, also representing the applicant, spoke on the traffic
problens and solutions, in the subdivision.

motion was made by Commissioner PERKINS, seconded by Commissioner
SPENCER, this matter be continued until the meeting of January
1974. 'lotion was unanimously approved.

Chairman Rue er noted the Town has a new Geologist, I!illiam Cotton, who
will prepare all geologic reports required by the To!,n.

Chairman ue er noted a meeting had been sche u od etr;een t e City "ana-
ger and Nilliam Spangle and Associates, concerning the retainer fee for
the Town Planning Consultant .
City Manager Lawson stated the Council had directed him to meet and ne-
gotiate with Hilliam Spancle and Associates regarding the retainer fee
for the Town Planning Consultant, and a meeting has been scheduled for
December 14, 1973.
Chairman. Mueller requested as many of the Commissioners as possible at-
tend the Council '!eeting of December 19, 1774, and state the Commission's
views concerning the retaininn of a Plannina Consultant.
