A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
LOS ALTOS HILLS AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR UTILITY
UNDERGROUNDING CONSULTING SERVICES TO FORM A MELLO-ROOS
DISTRICT TO HARRIS & ASSOCIATES,INC.
WHEREAS, residents in the La Cresta and Anacapa area are interested in undergrounding their
utilities; and
WHEREAS, neighborhood representatives have been working with Town staff over the last few
years to look into the feasibility of forming a Mello-Roos utility undergrounding district; and
WHEREAS, neighborhood representative and the Public Works Director of the Town of Los
Altos Hills did, duly examine and consider all proposals submitted for utility undergrounding
consulting services in Los Altos Hills, California; and
WHEREAS, the neighborhood representative and the Public Works Director recommends that
the contract for said project be awarded to Harris & Associates, Inc. in Concord, in an amount of
$22,830.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills
that:
1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract to Harris &
Associates, Inc. on behalf of the Town of Los Altos Hills.
The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of
Los Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 15th day of January, 2015 by the following vote:
AYES: Corrigan, Larsen, Radford
NOES: None
RECUSE: Harpootlian, Waldeck
