MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF
LOS ALTOS HILLS, CALIFORNIA
FEBRUARY 11, 1956
The planning commission organization meeting on Febru-
ary 11, 1956, was called to order by City Clerk Paulman and
the following members were present: Richard Bullis,
Richard Dawson, Raymond Hoefler, William Simrell, Jr.,
James H. Stedman and Proctor Milcuist; absent, Thomas Sherlock.
On motion of Mr. Hoefler, seconded by Mr. Bullis,
Mr. Simrell was elected as chairman of the Los Altos Hills
Plannin- Commission.
�r It was suggested by the chairman to have all members
study the county zoning ordinance and also the Hillsborough
Ordinance. Mr. McCandless and Mr. Simrell were asked as a
committee to study variances.
It was also suggested that all members study the subdivi-
sion ordinances as to roads and types.
It was also suggested that all subdivision maps be re-
ferred tw Mr. McCandless for designating net acreage.
The planning commission discussed the application of
Col. Goats for a variance on an addition to his present home,
but no action was taken.
The method to be used for applying variances, building
permits, etc. were discussed and the chairman stated that he

would make an inquiry to the county officials on the proper
procedure to be used.
There being no further business, the meeting was ad-
journed.
