MARCH 17, 1956
The first regular meeting of the Los Altos Hills
Planning Commission was called to order at 9 A. M.,at Puris-
sima School, on March 17, 1956. The following members were
present upon roll call: Chairman William Simrell, Jr.,
Proctor Milquist, Raymond Hoefler, James H. Stedman, Thomas
Sherlock, and Richard Dawson; absent, Richard Bullis. Also
present was City Engineer McCandless.
There was a brief discussion on changes in the
#40 zoning ordinance. It was moved by Mr, Dawson, seconded by
Mr. Milquist and carried unanimously that the commission adopt
the definition of the State Map Act (referring to the sub-
division and record of survey) Article 3 -- 11535 (A) (1) (2)
amm ended (A) (2) to be adopted provisionally pending further
study of the size of parcels as directed.
There was a report by Mr. Milquist on survey of
roads as to widths of right-of-way, widths of pavement, widths
and circles of cul-de-sacs.
The commission also decided that they would look at
the different roads in a body.
It was moved by Mr. Hoefler, seconded by Mr. Stedman
and carried unanimously that the. net acre be computed from the
%'W line of right-of-way and record of survey.
Upon presenting a Record of Survey Map, the net acreage
of property on existing roads of survey shall be computed from a
minimum width of 40 ft. or the existing right.of.way of recordso
whichever is larger.
There being no further business, the meeting was ad-
journed until 8 P. M., Tuesday, April 3* 1956, at Puri8sima School.
