Bullis on May 7, 1957, at the Town Hall, .lest Fremont, Los Altos Hills. Lac'_ing a quorum the Commission held a study session, witL. "our members present. Stedman on leave of absence. CC'sP KPONDENCE: 1. Gardner Bullis - May 1, 1957. Reference to ti: minutes being recorded by the Planning Commis icn. Mr. Bullis wished to express his congratulating, The Town Attorney suggests that where the vote is not unanimous, that the "yes" and "no" vote be recorded. 2. Los Altos Hills Association - May 5, 1957. 9be Central Committee of the Los Altos Hills Asso- ciation expresses its appreciation for the careful ccnsideration and action taken with re."ereace to the proposed Lutheran Rest Home. .. E',d t�PSINESS: 1. Report of Freeway Co+^mittes - Richard Dawson Mr. Dawson read the letter of recommendation f^om the Freeway Committee. Motion: Dawson; Second: Williams; vote: Passed Unanimously That the following specific recommendation be sent to the City Council as drafted in let'cer b - secretary. -2- 4 The Planning Commission concurs in general with the Freeway Committee report. However, Route A, the Green Route, has always seemed to serve the planning needs of the Town of Los Altos Hills the best. The Planning Commission recommends Route A from terminus of Junipero Serra at Arastradero parallel to railroad tracks. 2. Letter by Planning Commission to City Council, as attached. It was moved by Commissioner Sherlock seconded by Commissioner Dawson that the Planning Commission endorse the letter as attached and filed. Mr. Sherlock withdrew his motion with the permission of Mr. Dawson. Motion: Dawson: Second: Powell; Vote: Passed Unanimously RECOMMENDATION: That the introductory paragraphs be contained in a letter over the signature of the Planning Commission and the recommendations follow on a separate sheet as outlined by the Chairman. 3., Subdivision Ord_ ince. Full study of entire ordinance unto suggestions from interested citizens. Final draft to be forwarded to Town Attorney for checking before sub- mission to Council for approval.
