PRELIMINARY DISCUSSION:
1. King (Hyman) Property, 5 lots.
Geer. William, 3+ acres.
Representative - Schmidt & Short.
Due to the problem of access to the Geer property, the two maps
were considered in conjunction with each other.
Fresent were Mr. Schmidt, Mr. Short, Mr. Carr, Mr. and Mrs. Geer.
Access to the Geer property is over a right-of-way easement along
the east side of the King property. It was the general consensus
of the Planning Commission that prior to the approval of the divi
sion of the King property, an additional seventeen feet would be
required for dedication to increase the width of this easement to
thirty-two (32) feet, in order to provide access to the Geer pro-
perty that would meet Town Standards in the event the Geer proper-
ty is subdivided. The suggestion was made that the two subdividers
confer to effect a satisfactory arrangement.
Mr. Carr presented an alternate plan, showing land. use which was
more acceptable showing a private road from West Fremont at the
easterly side of the King property and running diagonally, south-
easterly and with access to the two rear lots from a cul-de-sac.
The suggestion was made that the a private road be continued from
the cul-de-sac to serve the Geer property, and that the fifteen
(15) foot right-of-way casement be abandoned. This Plan is i-
dentified as SK -1, January 23, 1959•
An additional twenty (20) feet will be required for dedication on
West Fremont Avenue. This may be counted as net acreage.
2. Meredith, P. J. and Ruth. 2 lots.
Mrs. Meredith and Sirs. Knight were present.
LMrs. Meredith inquired whether or not there was any information
relative to the exact location of the freeway in relation to her
property located on Marian and Purissima Avenues.

Meredith cont'd.
The suggestion was made that a. tentative map be filed which would
be forwarded to the Highway Depa:.tment fo determine an approximate
Lo location.
Relative to road improvements to be required, suggestion was made
that the City Clerk be contacted.
4. Seward. Henry - rroposed use of 200 acre parcel. Fngr. Riley.
Mr. Seward presented map showing several Parcels, 200 acres in-
clusive of the Byrnes property. Suggested uses for the property
were golf course, tennis courts, recreational areas, camping and
picnic hreas, or home sites.
It was the general opinion of the Planning Commission that a tent-
ative plan be submitted and a Use Kermit be applied.for, and that
any facility, golf course, etc. would have to be private as zoning
regulations would not permit any public failities.
Relative to whether or not springs located on the property could
be used for domestic use in the event that the property is subdivid-
ed. for Kobe sites, it was noted that the Health add'Fire Depart-
ments would have to approve the water supply system.
Election of officers: Planning Commission Chairman, Vice -Chairman,
and ecretary.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the election of officers be postponed until the next
meeting.
MOTION: Dawson; SECOND: Case; VOTE: Passed unanimously
