F. at the Town Hall, Los Altos Hills. ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Commissioners Case, Hayes, Hibner, Spain; Hier, Tantau (arrived 7:55 P. M.), 'Jilliams, Chairman Mellquist ABS.30P: Commissioners Dawson, Kendall MINUTES: N,ay 16, 1959. Corrections: The following statement was added to Item #1 of OLD BUSINESS: Geer, William (13859)• That the following be added to the Recomend- ation (William D. Geer (138-59) 4 lots): "that the driveway easement be relocated to be adjacent to the western property line of Lots r,"l and ,;2 and the common property line of Lots ;02 and '#4. MOTION: Spain; SECOND: Case; VOTE: Passed unanimously ACTION: '-.dopt minutes of May 16, 1959 as corrected. May 21, 1959. ACTION: Adort minutes of May 21, 1959 as submitted. May 25, 195g. ACTION: Adopt minutes of May 25, 1959 as submitted, COPIMUNI CATI ON : None. OLD BUSINESS:, 1. Lukas, Patricia (V-43-59) - Request for Reduction of Front Setback equiremen s. Mr. L. Hine, Sales Manager for Fremont Hills Development Company, f represented Mrs. Lukas. RECOMMENDATION: That the variance of ratricia Lukas (V-43-59) be approved as indicated on Map C-708, dated May 25, 1959. Letter from Mr. Riley was read stating the request. Following discussion, the Chairman suggested that the following Commissioners meet as a Committee with Dr. 0tegnor to discuss the situation and to make an on site inspection: Commissioners Spain, Tantau, the City Engineer, Mr. Riley, and the planning Commission Chairman. DIVISIONS OF LAND: 1. Smith, Mrs. Richard (141-59) 4 lots. Tngr. Riley. RECOMMENDATION: That the tentative map of Mrs. Richard Smith (145-59) 4 lots be approved, subject to the following conditions: 1. That access to Lot #4 be between Lots #2 and #3. 2. Thirty foot (30') right-of-way be provided for private driveway on the western boundary of the property. 3. The road be allowed to be constructed substandard sixteen feet (16') wide with rock base compacted to six inches (6"); to be constructed prior to the issuance of building permits. 4. Non -access on Elena .avenue. 5. Conditions of the Check List. RECOPTENDATION: That the Tentative map be approved subject to the following conditions; 1. That the existing driveway on the south side of property be abandoned. 2. Non -access on Furissima; access as shown on the thirty- two foot (32') easement with a forty foot (40') turnaround at the end of the private driveway. 3. The existing garage be removed and relocated prior to the issuance of the building permits for Lot #3. t 4. Conditions of Check list and agency approvals. i. Riley Following the discussion of^ire Chief Bassett's letter of June 1, 1959, Commissioner Stain 7a.s appointed to discuss fire stanxards with Chief nassett. The question of F.G.&E. easements on the property was referred to the City attorney. RECOIVEND.A.TIN: That the tentative map of Mattie Travis (144-59) 3 lots be ap- proved subject to the following conditions: 1, additional dedication of 25' along arastradero Road. 2. Ton -access on arastradero Rd., with the exception of the driveway easement. 3. Agency approval. 4. Conditions of the Check List. MOTION: Hayes; S^COND: 'Jilliams; VOTE: Passed unanimously 4. MOTION: Hibner; SECOND: Tantau; VOTE: Passed unanimously 5. Williams. Jeanette R. (139-59) 2 lots. Engrs. Ruth & Going. Mr. Gardner Bullis represented Mrs. Williams. RECOMMENDATION: That the tentative map of Jeanette Villiams (139-59) 2 lots be approved subject to the conditions noted on the Check List and agency anprovals. MOTION: Spain; SECOND: Hayes; VOTE: Passed unanimously 6. mrd, Dr. Oliver E. (142-59) 5 lots. Engr. P'aston & Kingston. RECOMMEND.ATI OT' : That the tentative map of Dr. Oliver E. Byrd (142-5q) 5 lots be approved subject to the following conditions: 1. Non -access on Elena except at the cul-de-sac. 2. 9gency approval and conditions of the Chest List.
