Gerald Ferrari consisted of two elements, (1) to install a new ln, nn gal-
lon water talk on his property, near the Daughters of Charity oronerty, and
(2) to maintain the existing nater tank, e!hich is north of the nroposed ne!e
tank. The staff is reenmrianding approval of the net, tank, with a holding
capacity of up to 15,000 rallons, but with the condition the existing tank
and tower be renoved. It is felt that anything else rvoull be considered a
special privilege.
',ir. Ferrari spoke, explaining his reasons for maintaining the oresent tank
and tower, and stating he only needed a ln,^^n gallon tank.

the variance be grante•i, subject to the conditions listed in the staff re-
port of FeLruary 3, 1074, and that this variance he examnt from the renuire-
ments of the CEQA. :lotion was unanimously anproved.

Collin.Peters, for a tennis court, and stated the staff could not recommend
approval of this variance as this would he against the Commission's Policy
statement regarding tennis courts and the ToUW s ordinance concerning var-
iances.
Kr. Collin Peters spoke, stating he eras under the impression the staff would
make a favorable recommendation, based on the field study. -
Assistant Planning Consultant Vlasic stated. after studyine the glans, the
staff found there would still be too great an encroachment, and could not
recomaend approval of this variance.

the encroachnent problem is resolved, and at that time the Board again will

for the Lands of James Knittel, including the list of conditions recommended
by the staff.
Mr. Janes Knittel spoke, stating he would agree with the conditions listed.
