Chairman Spencer called the Special Adjourned Studv Session Meeting of the Plan-
ning Commission to order in the Conference Room of the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont
Road, Los Altos Hills, at 7:43 P.M.
ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioners SCHICK, PHILLIPS, PERKINS, CARICO, YOUNG, SPENCER.
Absent: Commissioner LACHENBRUCH.

City Engineer Russell, Planning Consultant Mader, Assistant Planning Consul-
tant Vlasic, Sccretera Huffst.,tter.

was to continue review of the reports submitted by the Toren Planning Consul-
tant on revisions to tha Toum's SSubdivision ordinancrz.
Assistant Planning Consultant Vlasic stated drafts of Sections I, II, III,
IV and V and Appendices A and C t.e'1, <•n -,ssed out previously, and he
distributed Revised Appendix C. He reviewed PppeneW briefly and the Table
of Contents, which was enclosed with the September 25, 1974,
Commission.
Discussion ensued concerning Section III, regarding the recommendation re-
quiring a licensed landscape architect prepare all landscaping plans. It
was the consensus of the Commission that a licensed landscape architect
should only be required for the landscaping plans for the public right-of-
ways in subdivisions, but what size of subdivision •,!ould be affected was
not decided.
Assistant Planning Consultant Vlasic reviewed Appendix C ':riefly, and dis-
cussion followed on this section.
Assistant Planning Consultant Vlasic reviewed Section V, "Concepts for
Changes to Ordinances and Standards" and subsection "reneral Provisions",
giving examples of each item within the section and subsection. Discussion
followed on both the section and subsection between the Commission and staff.

mitted to the Torn. Chairman Spencer directed the staff to look into how
other towns handle this matter.

Commissioner Pcr.(ins requested that all Commissioners be supplied with cop-
ies of the Town's 400 scale map.
Commissioner Schick requested that all Commissioners be supplied with a copy
of the Town's Address Map.
Discussion continued on the items listed under "General Provisions", of
Section V.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion was made by Commissioner PHILLIPS, seconded by Commissioner YOUNG,
the meeting be adjourned to 7:30 Monday, November 4, 1974, in the Confer-
ence Room of the Town Hall. The meeting was adjourned at 11:00 P.M.
