RESOLUTION NO. 62-96
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS ACCEPTING
DEDICATION OF RIGHT OF WAY
ADJACENT TO HILLVIEW DRIVE
ON LANDS OF CHAWLAS
WHEREAS, Shri Chawla and Sumitra Chawla have offered to
dedicate a right of way to the Town of Los Altos Hills (the "Town")
on Lands of Chawla adjacent to Hillview Drive; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town has read and considered
that dedication of right of way.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town does RESOLVE as
follows:
1. The City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills hereby
accepts the dedication of property on Lands of Chawla for a right
of way on behalf of the public.
2. The Town of Los Altos Hills shall enter into and the
Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Dedication
of Right of Way.

DEDICATION OF RIGHT OF WAY
Shri Chawla and Sumitra Chawla ("Chawlas") , do hereby dedicate
to the Town of Los Altos Hills, a general law city of the State of
California, property for right of way purposes, situated in the
Town of Los Altos Hills, County— of `Santa Clara, State of
California, described as follows:
See Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Chawlas have executed this instrument.

FOR RIGHT OF WAY DEDICATION
A 5. 00 foot wide strip of land, measured at right angles, being a
portion of Lot 17 as shown on that certain map entitled
"Hillhaven, Santa Clara County, California", filed August 19,
1930, in Book Y of Maps at Pages 20 and 21, Santa Clara County
Records, being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the northeasterly line of Hillview
Avenue, 50 feet wide, at the common corner of Lots 16 and 17 as
shown on said map;
THENCE along said northeasterly line of Hillview Avenue
South 45°45 ' East 227.42 feet to the common corner of Lots 17 and
18 as shown on said map;
THENCE leaving last said line along the common line of said Lots
17 and 18 North 44°15 'East 5. 00 feet;
THENCE leaving last said line, along a line parallel to said
norteasterly line of Hiliview Avenue and distant 5. 00 feet at
right angles therefrom, North 45°45 ' West 226.40 feet to the
