HomeMy WebLinkAbout64-96 IF 411 RESOLUTION NO. 64-96 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AMENDING THE1995-96 CAPITAL BUDGET FOR THE EDGERTON ROAD LANDSLIDE PROJECT,AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CHANGE ORDER WHEREAS,the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills on October 4, 1995,adopted the Capital Budget for the 1995-96 Fiscal Year; and WHEREAS,the City Council had approved$160,000 for the repair of the Edgerton landslide,including design and construction costs of a retaining system at the site of the landslide; WHEREAS,the City Council has approved the contract with Hillside Drilling Company for$180,000 to complete the project for which the Town has already incurred$27,500 in geotechnical design costs; WHEREAS,an additional$12,500 was approved by the City Council for inspection and testing of the final project construction; WHEREAS,an additional$7,300 is needed for additional paving work to be performed to repair the roadway; WHEREAS,such modifications will create a budget deficit of$67,300 for the project; NOW THEREFORE,the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does RESOLVE as follows: Section 1. The additional sum of Sixty Seven Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($67,300) is hereby appropriated to the Capital Project account 2-732. Section 2. The total appropriated amount of the Capital Improvement Budget for each account area of the Budget,may be drawn upon in the form of warrants issued for payment of demands and certified in accordance with the provisions of California Government Code Sections 37208 and 37209. Section 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to amend the Capital Improvement Budget as specified above. A copy of the amended budget shall be kept on file with the City Clerk of the Town of Los Altos Hills, as the official Capital Budget of the Town of Los Altos Hills for the 1995-96 Fiscal Year. S Section 4. The City Manager shall periodically report to the City Council the amount and classification of revenue received and expenditures made. Section 5. The City Council does hereby authorize the City Manager to execute a change order for the additional paving work associated with the Edgerton Road Landslide Project in an amount not to exceed$7,300.
