HomeMy WebLinkAbout10/29/1978ikv PLANNING COMMISSION Town of Los Altos Hills 26379 Fremont Road Los Altos Hills, California MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED MEETING Sunday, October 29, 1978 The adjourned meeting of the Planning Commission to walk the proposed subdivision for the Lands of Bahr, File HTM 2079-78, began at 9:15 a.m. at Commissioner Kur- anoff's residence. Those present were Commissioners Dochnahl, vanTamelen, Kuranoff, Reeves, and Chairman Stewart. Absent were Commissioners Carico and Lachenbruch. Also present were Bob Naegele, Paul Nowack and Associates, En ineer; Consulting ngineer/ Planner John Markl; and Bob Bahr, OwneraL�, f't- — C'A'C 8 The tour began at Commissioner Kuranoff's residence. We walked northerly along South Fork Lane to the existing driveway entrance, then we turned south- easterly and walked up the hill over Lot 1 to the toe of the existing fill on Lot 2. The location of the proposed building site was discussed in regards to the following: 1. Existing oak trees 2. Sufficient distance from South Fork Lane to permit a combined driveway to serve the future residence in the southerly extremity of Lot 1 3. An existing erosion ditch in the tree area that must be repaired 4. The potential for a building site between the existing driveway and the northerly property line on Lot 1 5. The overhead power lines along South Fork Lane and the future service to the new residence 6. The limits and necessity for the recommended conservation easement over the southerly area of Lots 1 and 2 7. The notable bulge and apparent slump failure on the westerly -facing hillside In addition, the pathway connections along the easterly property lines between the Lands of Stegner and Axtel.along the northerly property line or driveway from Axtel to Three Forks Lane,and along the easterly side of South Fork Lane from Lands of Kuranoff to Three Forks Lane were reviewed. Minor attention was given to the ownership of Three Forks Lane and the creation of,4f\third under- sized parcel containing Three Forks Lane as a rehult of the prbp*ed subdivision. ing Engineer/Planner
