RESOLUTION NO. 1-94
RESOLUTION OF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS ACCEPTING
DEDICATION OF RIGHT OF WAY FROM LANDS OF ARDEN
WHEREAS, Jerry A. Arden owns property at 24911 Prospect
Avenue and has offered to dedicate a right of way on this
property to the Town of Los Altos Hills ("Town") ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town has read and
considered that dedication of right of way;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos
Hills does RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. The City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills
hereby accepts the dedication of property on Lands of Arden for a
right of way on behalf of the public.
Section 2 . The Town of Los Altos Hills shall enter into and
the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the
Dedication of Right of Way, a copy of which is attached hereto as
Exhibit A.
Passed and adopted this 2nd day of February , 1994 .

DEDICATION OF RIGHT OF WAY
This Dedication of Right of Way ("Dedication") is granted by Jerry A. Arden
in favor of the Town of Los Altos Hills, a municipal corporation of the State of
California ("Town"), effective as of the date of execution by the Town.
RECITALS
A. Arden owns property located at 24911 Prospect Avenue in the Town of
Los Altos Hills, California, being that certain parcel of land described as a portion of
Lots 11 and 12, Map of N.J. Stone's Subdivision, recorded in the Official Records of
Santa Clara County at Book H of Maps, pages 58 and 59, on May 9, 1894, and as
shown on that certain Record of Survey filed April 9, 1956, in Book 69 of Maps, page
7, recorded in the Official Records of Santa Clara County.
B. Arden desires to dedicate a portion of this property to the Town for a
public right of way and Town wishes to accept such a dedication.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED by the parties as follows:
1. Right of Way. Arden hereby dedicates to the Town a portion of
the property as described in Exhibit "A" and shown in Exhibit "B" attached hereto
for right of way purposes, including, but not limited to, construction and
maintenance of vehicular, pedestrian, bicycle and equestrian facilities.
2. Acceptance. The Town has accepted this Dedication of right of way by
Resolution No. 1-94 and has authorized the Mayor to execute this document on
its behalf.
3. Binding Effect. The Provisions contained in this Dedication shall
run with the land and shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the
respective successors and assigns of the parties to this Dedication.

DEDICATION OF HALF STREET WIDTH OF PROSPECT AVENUE
ARDEN RESIDENCE - 24911 PROSPECT AVENUE
BEGINNING at a point in the centerline of Prospect Avenue at the
southwesterly corner of that certain 1.075 acre parcel shown on
• the Record of Survey filed April 9, 1956, in Book 60 of Maps at
Page 7, Santa Clara County Records;
THENCE along said centerline of Prospect Avenue North 49°20 ' 10"
East 50. 18 feet and South 81°40 ' 30" East 112 .83 feet to the
southeasterly corner of said 1. 075 acre parcel;
THENCE leaving last said line along the easterly boundary of said
1. 075 acre parcel North 23°13 ' 50" West 35 .21 feet;
THENCE leaving last said line, along a line parallel to said
centerline of Prospect Avenue and distant 30. 00 feet at right
angles therefrom, North 81°40 ' 30" West 46.56 feet;
THENCE—leaving -last said—line said- line a-long- the—arc-of a-cur-ve to the
left having a radius of 135 feet through a central- angle- of
42°23 ' 56" an arc length of 99 .90 feet;
THENCE along the westerly boundary of said 1. 075 acre parcel
South 9°09 ' 50" East 34 . 13 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
