The Regular Meeting of the Flannir_g Co=ission of the Town of Los
Altos Hills was called to order `"iureda-y, January 5, 1961 at 7:40 P.M.
by Vice -Chairman Proctor Mellquist at the Town Hall, 26379 W. Fremont
Avenue, Los Altos Hills.
ROLL CALL: FR SENT: Commissioners Alter, Hawley, Stevens, Vice-

ABSENT: Commissioners Bowler, Prentice, Chairman Hibner

ACTION:

NEW BUSINESS:

Planning :.dvisory Committee - Following discussion of various
items for the agenda of the :Tanning :.dvisory Committee, it was
noted thatt'•ere is a need for the study of problens of population
density and defining the upper -ereas of the Town. The suggestion
was made that the "Cluster Systen" as is used in the City of
Santa Barbara be studied.
ACTION:
That the Planning Committee arrange for a meeting and invite
the Planning Advisory Committee to neet with them relative
to studying these *'atters.

1. Fremont Hills Development Co. (V-19-57) - Request for Extension

Variances for the three lots were considered, a fifteen foot (15`)
reduction in requirements for Lots 1 and 5, and reo_uest for no
setback for Lot 4.

(V-68-60) be roferred back to the Map Committee for an on
site inspection, to be reported on at meeting of Jan. 21,

The ll2n. Con. r�corr.ends t..the Council that a core equitable
distribution of the cost of subdividing, as it pertains to
off -tract improvements would be obtained if the cost were
assessed more nearly on a per lot basis, rather than by
physical irproverent on a particular site.
