M. at the Town Hall, 26379 W. Fremont, Los '.ltos Hills. ROLL C..LL: FRESENT: Commissioners Bowler, Hibner, Stevens, Chairman ABSENT: Commissioners Hawley, Mellquist, Irentice .'SFROVAL OF MINUTES: April 22, 1961. ACTION: ,',do -pt Minutes of April 22, 1961 as submitted. COMMUNI C:.TIONS : None. OLD BUSINESS: 1. Offer of Land for rublic Iark b9 Frank Duveneck. Chairman ,_iter explained that Mr. Duveneck had offered a parcel of land, located off Moody Road alcng Adobe Creek, to the Town to be used as a public park. In discussion of whether to recommend acceptance of Mr. Duveneck's oMr, question arose as to whether the Town could maintain a park. RECOMMEND'.TION: That Mr. Duveneck be given a vote of appreciation for his offer of land to the Town, stating that it is not within the budgetary limits of the Town of Los Altos Hills to maintain such a park, and that the offer will have to be declined. MOTION: Bowler; SECOND: Stevens; VOTE: Iassed unantrously DIVISIONS OF L;SND: 1. Axford, Fred W. (196-61) 2 lots. Engr. J. Riley. Cormissioner Bowler retorted for the Map Committee, stating that access for Lot #2 does not meet the provisions of the Subdivision Ordinance. Following discussion of how the map could be revised to allow 16, proper access, Mr. Riley was asked to submit a revised nap at the next meeting. -2- 2. McGee, Virgil E. (192_61�..'�lots. Engr. J. Riley. LO Revised Map, showing ace.;.:: ron the Hor;neter property, was dis- cussed. Mr. Riley stated that Mr. x.ennete.r had agreed to allow Mr. McGee access to his lots from Magdaleaa .'xe. through his property. Check List was completed by Corr.issioner Bowler. RECOMMENDATION: That the revised Tentative Map (C-58), submitted on April 22, 1961, of Virgil E. McGee (192-61) 3 lots be approved, subject to access from private road to property as shown on Map C-85, a letter from Mr. Henneter agreeing to use this private road as the only additional access on Magdalena Ave. when he sub- divides his property, and conditions of the Check List. MOTION: Stevens; SECOND: Hibner; VOTE: Iassed unanimously VARIANCES: 1. Bower!. Wn._(V-75-61) - Informal discussion was held on request for reduct on n setback requirements for residence. Recommend- ation will be submitted at the meeting of May 20, 1961. I NEW BUSINESS: 1. 4oxx Re_ a1_ty - Letter, dated May 3, 1961, relative to Ravensbury '.nnexation. The letter will be forwarded to the Mayor. ;,NNOUNCEMENTS: 1. Planning Committee will meet Tuesday, May 9, 1961 at 7:30 F. M, at the Town Hall to discuss the following itens: Ordinance No. 44, Street Name Changes, and proposed Trailer Ordinance. MEETING ADJOURNED: 7:30 F. M.
