July 15, 1961
Th Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission of the Town of Los.
Altos Hills was called to order Saturday July 15, 1961 at 8:30 A: M.
by Chairman Arthur S. Alter at the Town mall,
Altos Hills. 26379 W. Fremont, Los
ROLL CLL: PRESENT: Commissioners Bowler, Garbett, Hawley, Hibner,
Prentice, Chairman Alter.
ABSENT: Commissioner Mellquist
MINUTES: July 6. 1961.
Corrections:
ACTION:
Page 3, Fara. 1: Change to: "Monterey Fine
of not more than 10' center to be planted
and maintained around all sides of area for
which variance is granted".
Approve Minutes of July 6, 1961 as corrected.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
1. Section IV. Subsec 4:20 of Ordnance No 44 - Discussion. "
It was pointed that the recommendation of the Committee was for
$100.00 roost of material before requiring permit, Our Building
Code requires'a permit for construction costing $20.00. The
Committee recommends that $100.00 figure be controlling.
USE PERMITS:

Tank tobe"erected near Vinedo Lane thirty feet (301) from center
of road on site 30' x 23'. The tank Is to be 20' in diameter.
ACTION:
That a Use Permit be granted to the Parissima Mutual Water
Associates (V-79.51) is erect a tank 20' in diameter, 16'
in height, subjc, to planting Monterey Fine Trees around
present and Pro;;'

no more than ten -oot (101) centers and maintained by ap-
plicant until fully established.

Chairman Alter reported that Edgerton Road had been accepted by

the Town on April 6, 1959. (Th. -.s information is to be forwarded
to the Council.)
Commissioner Hibner reported that the Fire District, by letter,
stated that no building permit would be permitted until water
problems are solved..
Conditions of the Check List were read.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Tentative Map of Janes C. Hicks (202-61) 2 lots be
approved subject to conditions of the Check List. Committee
requested that Chairman :,iter report to the Council on the
Special Problem, such as in this case of tentative approval
and final approval of subsubdivisions wherein the subdivi-
sion is granted, but the sites created cannot obtain build-
ing permits. Chairman :;iter is to request that in these
cases, along with the final r^corded map, a restriction on
these of created lots be recorded to warn prospective buyers
of deficiences which must be corrected.
MOTION: Bowler; SECOND: Hibner; VOTE: Passed unanimously
2. Wright, G. L. (203-61) 4 lots. Engr.. John Riley.
That the Tentative Map of G. L. Wright (203-61) 4 lots be
approved., subject to conditions of the Check List.
MOTIONt Prentice; SECOND: Bowler; VOTE: Passed unanimously
3. Snell Jack (184-61) Tract No 2947 14 lots. $-r. J. Riley.
ACTIONt
That the requirements along W. Fremont .,venue be a thirty
foot (30') dedication to center, plus an additional easement
of twenty. feet (20') for future roadway porposes. The twenty
toot (20') easement is not to be deducted from net area of
lots offected. -
MOTION: Hibner; S-,J';ND: Hawley; VOTE: Passed unanimously
ELECTION OF OFFICERS: C, _2issfoner Prentice was unanimously elected
hairman.of the Flanningomnission.-
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
4W 1. Map Committee will meet Tuesday, Aug. 1, 1961 at 5:00 P. M.
2. Planning Committee meeting will be announced.
