MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING
Wednesday, June 25, 1980

Chairman Kuranoff called the meeting of the Variance and Permit Commission to
order at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Commissioners Kuranoff, vanTamelen, and Dochnahl
Absent: None
Also Present: City Planner/Engineer John Carlson, Assistant Planner Pat Webb,
Secretary Ethel Hopkins
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
The Minutes of April 9th were corrected that Commissioners Lachenbruch, Kuranoff and
Stewart were present for the meeting at the "Roll Call". (Commissioner Rydell's
name was stricken.) Thereafter, Chairman Kuranoff declared the Minutes of April 9
E. approved as amended.
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1. LANDS OF VON HUENE File #VAR. 4-80, 13500 South Fork Lane, Request for
Recommendation of pproval for Variance from Setback to Construct Storage Shed:
Mr. Carlson discussed the above request as detailed in his June 20th staff report,
recommending that the variance request be granted. He noted that the applicant was
in the process of completing agreements for an access easement across adjoining
property, but that it was the applicant's wish that he obtain the variance before
completing these agreements.
Commission discussion concerned an error on the map concerning the location of the
top of the creek bank, whether trees would be cut down when the shed was constructed,
and whether the shed construction would be reviewed by the Site Development Committee.
The following action was taken by the Variance and Permit Commission:
MOTION SECONDED AND PASSED UNANIMOUSLY: It was moved by Commissioner Dochnahl and
seconded by Commissioner vanTamelen to recommend approval of the variance request
for the Lands of vonHuene, File #VAR.4-80, with the reasons cited in the June 20, 1980
staff report, with the conditions listed therein, and with the following additional
condition: No trees over four inches in diameter or greater shall be removed from
the property during construction of the shed.
L ADJOURNMENT:
w There being no new or old business to be discussed, it was moved by Commissioner Doch-
nahl and approved unanimously by all present to adjourn. Adjournment was at 7:10 p.m..
