HomeMy WebLinkAbout10/13/1982VARIANCE AND PERMIT COMMISSION Town of Los Altos Hills ` 26379 Fremont Road Los Altos Hills, California MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING Wednesday, October 13, 1982 Reel 101, Side I, Tract I, 000-150 Chairman Dochnahl called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. in the Town Hall Council Chambers. A. ROLL CALL: Present: Commissioners Carico & Dochnahl Also Present: Assistant Planner Pat Webb; Secretary Leslie Penfold B. PUBLIC HEARINGS: 1. Lands of Denenberg, File #VAR 7-82, 24180 Dawnridge Drive, Request for a variance for a maximum twenty foot (20') encroachment into the side yard setback for an attached carport. Ms. Webb referred to staff report dated October 7, 1982, indicating the request is for a maximum 20' encroachment into the side yard setback for a ` carport. Ms. Webb referenced Tract 1288, which was recorded prior to the Town's incorporation, indicating Lot #5, shows a 100' BSBL was required from the front property line, which limits the applicant's ability to place the structure elsewhere on the property. Staff recommended approval of the request with conditions outlined in staff report dated October 7, 1982. Staff indicated there have been no written or verbal objections to this re- quest. The Public Hearing was then opened. Mr. Denenberg_, 24180 Dawnridae Drive, asked commission to grant the variance request, and indicated this location is the least visible from off-site. The Public Hearing was then closed and commissioners began review of the conditions. MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Carica, seconded by Dochnahl and passed unanimously to recommend approval to the City Council for the Lands of Denenberg, File #VAR 7-82, with the Conditions of Approval as outlined in October 7, 1982 staff report.
