MINUTES OF :, REGULAR MEETING
September 7, 1961
The Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission of the Town of Los
Altos Hills was called to order by Chairman Alexander C. Prentice, Jr.
Thursday, Sept. 7, 1961 at 7:36 P. M. at the Town Hall, 26379 W.
Fremont Ave., Los :11tos Hills.
ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Commissioners Alter, Garbett, Hawley, Chairman.
Prentice; Commissioner Hibner arrived 7:41 P.M.
ABSENT: Commissioners Bowler, Mellquist
MINUTES: ._ugust 19. 1961.

Adopt Minutes of .lug. 19, 1961 as submitted.
MOTION: Garnett, SECCI'D: Hawley; VOTE: Passed unanimously
C011MUNICATIONS :
1. L. G. Brian, Consulting rngineers - Letter, dated Aug. 31, 1961,
requested discussion of a proposed resubdivision of a portion of
Fremont Hills Unit No. 6.
Deferred to meeting of Sept. 16, 1961.
2. R. W. Towle - Copy of letter to the City Council, dated iug. 21,
1 1, called attention to the ommission of trees located in pro-
posed easement for roadway on the subdivision nap submitted for
F. T. tdams. Mr. Towle suggested that location of easement be
reviewed with regard to saving the trees.
ACTION:
That Mr. J. Riley, Engr. for F. T. :Adams, be instructed to
review the proposed subd. map of F. T. ',dams, with respect
to the trees referred to in the letter from Mr. Towle, and
that he be instructed to take necessary steps to save such
trees; that the Planning Commission is of the opinion that
even. though it may fall below the City's Standards, the
trees should be reserved, and will do all within its power
to save them.

quirements>
After reviewing tho 'request for 15' reduction, the following re-
commendation was rade:

That the requeet of 7. J. Schnoor (V-81-61) for 15' reductior
in setback requirements be approved.
MOTION: Hawley; SECOND: Hibner; VOTE: Passed unanimously
2. Maclean Neal (V-81-61) - Request for Reduction of Setback Re-
quirenents.
The Map Committee Chairman reported that an inspection had been
made and that approval was recommended.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the request of Neal Maclean (V-83-61) for reduction of
setback requirements be approved.

3. Reich .Eendell (V-84-61) - Request for Reduction of Setback Re-
quirements.
Approval was recommended b3 the Map Committee.

back requirements be approved.

The Map Committee Chairman stated that the Committee is not satis-
fied with the proposed ingress end egress.

RECOMMEND:":TI ON:
That the Revised Tentative Map of V. E. McGee (192-61) 3 lots
be not approved as the proposed access to lots 1 and 2.is of
insufficient easement width as required by Sec. VI.D.2. of
Ord. No. 69.
MOTION: Hibner; SECOND: Garbett; VOTE: Passed unanimously
2. Sinrell, Wm., Jr. (205-61) 2 lots. Engr. J. Riley.
The Chairman stated that the map was previously considered, and
rejected by the Health Dept.; that Mr. Sinrell now requests that
the Map be approved under the provisions of Sec. III, 3:40 of
Ord. No. 69.
Approval was recommended by the Map Committee.
RECOP'C"2I D..TI ON:
That the Map cf Wry. Sinrell, Jr. (205-61) 2 lots be approved
under the provisions of Sec. II1, 3:40 of Ord. No. 69.
