RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
ACCEPTING GRANT.OF A PATHWAY EASEMENT
(Lands of Heit)
WHEREAS, Warren S. Heit and Deborah E. Heit, husband and wife, as community
property with right of survivorship, ("Owners"), are the owners of the property commonly
known as 27753 Sherlock Road, Los Altos Hills, California; and
WHEREAS, Owners have offered to grant to the Town an easement for the construction,
operation and maintenance of existing and future pathway facilities, for pedestrian, bicycle and
equestrian use ("Pathway Easement"); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it is necessary and proper and in the public
interest to accept the grant of the Pathway Easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. The Town hereby accepts on behalf of the public, and for the purposes
therein described,the Grant of Pathway Easement attached to this Resolution as Attachment A.
Section 2. The Town shall accept, and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute,the Grant of Pathway Easement.

GRANT OF PATHWAY EASEMENT
TO THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
(Lands of Heit)
THIS GRANT OF EASEMENT is made thie day o I , 2008, by
Warren S. Heit and Deborah E. Heit, husband and wife, as co y pro.erty with right
of survivorship, ("Owners"), owners of the property commonly known as 27753 Sherlock
Road, Los Altos Hills, California,to and for the benefit of the Town of Los Altos Hills, a
municipal corporation("Town").
Section 1. Owners do hereby offer to grant to Town a perpetual right and
nonexclusive easement for the construction, operation and maintenance of existing and
future pathway facilities, for pedestrian, bicycle and equestrian use, together with right of
access thereto, on, under, over, along and through the real property situated in the Town
of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California as described and,depicted
in Exhibit A attached hereto ("Easement").
Section 2. Owners shall not allow the placement or construction of any
structures or improvements on the Easement property.
Section 3. The Town hereby accepts the grant of the Easement.

THAT CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY NOW KNOWN AS THE LANDS OF HEIT ET UX. PURSUANT
TO DOCUMENT #17336015, FILED 9/10/2003 AND AS SHOWN ON THAT CERTAIN RECORD
OF SURVEY FILED FOR RECORD ON APRIL 1, 1987 IN,BOOK 572 OF MAPS, PAGE 29, SANTA
CLARA COUNTY RECORDS, TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS, SANTA CLARA COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:

RESOLUTION NO. 5 8-0 8
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
CONFIRMING THE BIENNIAL REVIEW OF THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE
WHEREAS, the Political Reform Act requires every local government agency to review
its Conflict of Interest Code and revise it if necessary; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney and City Clerk have reviewed the current Conflict of
Interest Code, which the City Council last updated in 2004 pursuant to Resolution 46-04, and
have determined that the Code in its current form is in accordance with the applicable regulations
and guidelines of the Fair Political Practices Commission.
•
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the City Council of the Town of Los
Altos Hills having undertaken its biennial review of the Town's Conflict of Interest Code, herby
confirms that no amendments to this Code are required at this time.
