RESOLUTION NO. 47-93
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
REQUESTING THE TAX COLLECTOR OF
THE COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA TO LEVY CERTAIN CHARGES
AGAINST REAL PROPERTIES IN ORDER TO ABATE WEEDS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 12-2 . 08 of the Los Altos Hills
Municipal Code, the Town of Los Altos Hills has previously
notified owners of certain real property that because of the
dangerous and hazardous condition of their properties, the weeds
must be abated; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Marshal has determined that a dangerous
and hazardous fire condition exists on these certain properties;
and
WHEREAS, the owners of these certain properties, notified of
the necessity for weed abatement did not abate the nuisance
within thirty (30) days of the notice, and it became necessary to
have the dangerous and hazardous fire condition abated by a
contractor of the Town.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos
Hills does hereby RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. The Tax Collector of the County of Santa Clara
is requested to charge for weed abatement, including
administrative costs, against those certain real properties
within the Town of Los Altos Hills, which are listed in
Exhibit A, attached hereto, for fiscal year 1992-93 and to
collect the same on behalf of the Town.
