Beatts has offered to grant an easement for sanitary sewer purposes to the Town; and WHEREAS,the City Council of the Town has read and considered that grant of easement for sanitary sewer purposes; NOW,THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does RESOLVE as follows: Section 1. The-Town of Los Altos-Hills hereby accepts the grant'of the sanitary sewer easement at 13021 Alta Lane North on behalf of the public. Section 2. The Town of Los Altos Hills shall enter into and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Grant of Easement for Sanitary Sewer Purposes, a copy of which is attached hereto. Section 3. Los Altos Hills,CA 94022 Attention: City Clerk GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES This Grant of Easement for Sanitary Sewer Purposes ("Easement") is granted by Valerie K. Beatts ("Beatts") in favor of the Town of Los Altos Hills, a municipal corporation of the State of California ("Town"), effective as of the date of execution by the Town. RECITALS A. Beatts owns property located at 13021 Alta Lane North in the Town of Los Altos Hills, California, more particularly described as Lot 7 of Tract No. 49, Robleda Heights, filed for record in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, on April 12, 1937, in Book 1 of Maps, pages 46 and 47. B. Beatts desires to grant an easement in this property to the Town for a public sanitary sewer purposes, and Town wishes to accept the easement. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED by the parties as follows: 1. Sanitary Sewer. Beatts, hereby grants to the Town an easement as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and shown in Exhibit "B" for sanitary sewer purposes, including the right to construct, install, maintain and repair sewer facilities within the easement. 2. Acceptance. The Town has accepted this Easement by Resolution No. 108-93and has authorized the Mayor to execute this document on its behalf. 3. Binding Effect.
