RESOLUTION OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
_ACCEPTING GRANT OF AN EASEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES
AT 13021 ALTA LANE NORTH,LANDS Of BEATTS
WHEREAS,Valerie K. Beatts has offered to grant an easement for sanitary sewer
purposes to the Town; and
WHEREAS,the City Council of the Town has read and considered that grant of
easement for sanitary sewer purposes;
NOW,THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. The-Town of Los Altos-Hills hereby accepts the grant'of the sanitary
sewer easement at 13021 Alta Lane North on behalf of the public.
Section 2. The Town of Los Altos Hills shall enter into and the Mayor is hereby
authorized and directed to execute the Grant of Easement for Sanitary Sewer Purposes,
a copy of which is attached hereto.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to record this Resolution,in the
office of the County Recorder. _ _ _

GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES
This Grant of Easement for Sanitary Sewer Purposes ("Easement") is granted
by Valerie K. Beatts ("Beatts") in favor of the Town of Los Altos Hills, a municipal
corporation of the State of California ("Town"), effective as of the date of execution
by the Town.
RECITALS
A. Beatts owns property located at 13021 Alta Lane North in the Town of
Los Altos Hills, California, more particularly described as Lot 7 of Tract No. 49,
Robleda Heights, filed for record in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Santa
Clara, on April 12, 1937, in Book 1 of Maps, pages 46 and 47.
B. Beatts desires to grant an easement in this property to the Town for a
public sanitary sewer purposes, and Town wishes to accept the easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED by the parties as follows:
1. Sanitary Sewer. Beatts, hereby grants to the Town an easement as
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and shown in Exhibit "B" for sanitary sewer
purposes, including the right to construct, install, maintain and repair sewer
facilities within the easement.
2. Acceptance. The Town has accepted this Easement by Resolution
No. 108-93and has authorized the Mayor to execute this document on its behalf.
3. Binding Effect. The Provisions contained in this Easement shall
run with the land and shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the
respective successors and assigns of the parties to this Easement.

CONSENT AND SUBORDINATION
Thomas Cole, Trustee of Cortelyou & Cole Pension Trust Fund, as Beneficiary
under the Deed of Trust made by Valerie K. Beatts dated June 25, 1987, recorded July
7, 1987, in Book K214, at page 2159, of Official Records of Santa Clara County, hereby
consents to the execution of and also subordinates all the right, title, interest and
lien which they now have to that of the Public Sanitary Sewer Easement, dated
as if and as though said Easement had been made, executed, and
recorded prior to execution and recordation of said Deed of Trust.

SANITARY SEWER_EASEMENT OVER
LANDS OF BEATTS •
All of that real property situate in the City of the Town of Los
Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California
described as follows: _
A strip of land over .the northerly 15 feet of Lot 7 as said Lot
is shown on that certain map entitled Tract No. 49, Robleda
Heights recorded April 12, 1937 in Book 1 of Maps at Pages 46 &
47, _ Santa Clara County Records, said strip of land more
particularly described as follows:

BEGINNING at the most northerly corner of said Lot 7, said
northerly corner being a point in the westerly line of a private
road known as Alta Lane North at its westerly.terminus as shown
on above referenced map;
Thence southerly along said westerly line of Alta Lane North
along a curve to the right from a tangent which bears S 27° 15'
24" E having a radius of 445.27 feet through a central angle of
2° 08' 37" an arc distance of 16.66 feet;
Thence leaving said westerly line South 89° 36' 00" West 125.75
feet; --
Thence parallel with the Northwesterly line of Lot 7 South
42° 06' 00" West 86.21 feet; thence North 47° 54' 00" West 15.00
feet to a point in the Northwesterly line of Lot 7;
