RESOLUTION NO. 192-93
RESOLUTION OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
ACCEPTING GRANT OF AN EASEMENT FOR PATHWAY
AT 13822 PAGE MILL ROAD,LANDS OF CHOWN
WHEREAS,John B. Chown and Ramona Chown have offered to grant an
easement for pathway to the Town; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town has read and considered that grant of
pathway;
NOW,THEREFORE,the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. The Town of Los Altos Hills hereby accepts the grant of the pathway
easement at 13822 Page Mill Road on behalf of the public.
Section 2. The Town of Los Altos Hills shall enter into and the Mayor is hereby
authorized and directed to execute the Grant of Easement for Pathway, a copy of which
is attached hereto.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to record this Resolution,in the
office of the County Recorder.

GRANT OF-EASEMENT FOR PATHWAY
This Grant of Easement for Pathway ("Easement") is granted by John B. and
Ramona Chown ("Chowns") in favor of the Town of Los Altos Hills, a municipal
corporation of the State of California ("Town"), effective as of the date of execution
by the Town.
RECITALS
A. Chowns own property located at 13822 Page Mill Road in the Town of
Los Altos Hills, California, more particularly described as the 3.592 acre M.R.
Johnson parcel as shown on the map entitled "Record of Survey of the Property of
M.R. Johnson", filed in Book 116, Page 24, for record in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Santa Clara on January 28, 1960.
B. Chowns consent to grant an easement in this property to the Town for
a pathway, and Town wishes to accept such easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED by the parties as follows:
1. Pathway. Chowns, hereby grant to the Town an easement as
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and shown in Exhibit "B" for public
pathway purposes as set forth in Los Altos Hills Municipal Code Title 10, Chapter 2,
Article 6.
2. Acceptance. The Town has accepted this Easement by Resolution
No. 192-93 and has authorized the Mayor to execute this document on its behalf.
3. Binding Effect. The Provisions contained in this Easement shall
run with the land and shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the
respective successors and assigns of the parties to this Easement.

EQUESTRIAN PATHWAY EASEMENT
That certain parcel of land situated in the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara,
State of California, described as follows:
Being a portion of the premises shown upon the Map of Record of Survey of the Property
of M. R. Johnson,which map was filed for record on January 28, 1960, in Book 116 of maps,
Page 24, Santa Clara County Records, and further described as follows:
A strip of land 10 feet in width, beginning at an iron pipe on the most northeasterly corner
of said record of survey; Bence along the southeasterly line of said record of survey, S 45°
11' 35" W 185.06 feet, thence S 72° 42' 55" W 238.30 feet, thence S 45° 48' 15" W 318.46
feet, to the southerly line of said Record of survey, thence along said southerly line N 89°
06' 25" W 125.53 feet to an iron pipe as shown on said Record of Survey, thence leaving said
southerly line N 04° 19' 15" W 10.04 feet, thence S 89° 06' 25" E 122.29 feet, thence N 45°
48' 15" E 316.70 feet, thence N 72° 42' 55" E 238.24 feet, thence N 45° 11' 35" E 170.90 feet
to the ••st northerly line of said Record of Survey, thence along said northerly line N 85°
