RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
ACCEPTING GRANT OF A PATHWAY EASEMENT
(Lands of Padmanabhan)
WHEREAS, Ramesh Padmanabhan and Jaya Padmanabhan, husband and wife, trustees
of the Ramesh Padmanabhan and Jaya Padmanabhan 1999 Inter Vivos Trust, ("Owners"), are the
owners of the property commonly known as 13114 Maple Leaf Court, Los Altos Hills,
California; and
WHEREAS, Owners have offered to grant to the Town an easement for the construction,
operation and maintenance of existing and future pathway facilities, for pedestrian, bicycle and
equestrian use ("Pathway Easement"); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it is necessary and proper and in the public
interest to accept the grant of the Pathway Easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. The Town hereby accepts on behalf of the public, and for the purposes
therein described,the Grant of Pathway Easement attached to this Resolution as Attachment A.
Section 2. The Town shall accept, and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute, the Grant of Pathway Easement.

GRANT OF PATHWAY EASEMENT
TO THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
(Lands of Padmanabhan)
THIS GRANT OF EASEMENT is made this /1 ifiL day o' i1/)C , 2008, by
Ramesh Padmanabhan and Jaya Padmanabhan,husband and wife,t w stees of the Ramesh
Padmanabhan and Jaya Padmanabhan 1999 Inter Vivos Trust("Owners"), owners of the
property commonly known as 13114 Maple Leaf Court, Los Altos Hills, California,to
and for the benefit of the Town of Los Altos Hills, a municipal corporation("Town").
Section 1. Owners do hereby offer to grant to Town a perpetual right and
nonexclusive easement for the construction, operation and maintenance of existing and
future pathway facilities, for pedestrian, bicycle and equestrian use, together with right of
access thereto, on, under, over, along and through the real property situated in the Town
of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California as described and depicted
in Exhibit A attached hereto ("Easement").
Section 2. Owners shall not allow the placement or construction of any
structures or improvements on the Easement property.
Section 3. The Town hereby accepts the grant of the Easement.

All that certain real property in the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State
of California, being a portion of Parcel 2, as shown on that certain map entitled 'Parcel
Map, Lands of Padmanabhan' which was filed for record in Book 764 of Maps, at Pages
23 and 24, Santa Clara County Records, and being more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most northwesterly property corner of said Parcel 2, thence
proceeding along the northerly boundary line of said Parcel 2, North 85°55'46" East,
383.07 feet, to a point on a curve with a radial bearing of South 61°18'18" West, and a
radius of 60.00 feet,. said curve being the southwesterly line of a 10 foot wide public
utility and pathway easement, as said easement is shown on said Parcel Map;
Thence, leaving said northerly boundary line of said Parcel 2, southerly along said
curve, through a central'angle of 5°22'32", an arc distance of 5.63 feet, to a point on a
line parallel, and 5.00 feet distant, measured at a right angle, with the northerly
boundary line of said Parcel 2;
Thence, along the last mentioned parallel line, South 85°55'46" West, 254.77 feet, to a
point on the easterly boundary line of the conservation easement over Parcel 2, as said
easement is shown on said Parcel Map;
Thence, along the easterly boundary line of said conservation easement, South
4°24'23" East, 15.00 feet, to a point on a line parallel, and 20.00' distant, measured at a
right angle, with the northerly boundary line of said Parcel 2;
Thence, along the last mentioned parallel line, South 85°55'46" West, 127.29 feet, to a
point on the westerly boundary line of said Parcel 2;
Thence, along said westerly boundary line, North 14°30'54 West. 20.34 feet, to the
POINT OF BEGINNING.
