RESOLUTION NO. 60-91
A RESOLUTION OF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
AMENDING CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL FOR THE
LANDS OF OSHIMA, LOT 1, OF THE PARCEL MAP
RECORDED IN BOOK 598 OF MAPS, PAGE 14,
APRIL 11, 1988
WHEREAS, the Subdivision Map Act, Government Code
Section 66472 . 1 allows a local agency to amend a Final Map, if a
local ordinance so authorizes, if the local agency finds, among
other things, that there are changes in circumstances; and
WHEREAS, the Town adopted Ordinance No. 343 authorizing the
Town to so modify a Map or conditions of a Map;
• WHEREAS, the Town of Los Altos Hills approved the Final Map
for the Lands of Oshima, recorded in Book 598 of Maps, page 14,
Official Records of Santa Clara County; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 343, the Town' s Planning
Commission and City Council held public hearings to consider
amending the conditions on the final map for Lands of Oshima;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos
Hills does RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. Amendment to Conditions. The City Council of
the Town of Los Altos Hills hereby amends and clarifies
Condition 11 of the Conditions of Approval of the Lands of Oshima
to read as follows:
11. The height of structures on the Lands of Oshima,
Lot 1 shall not exceed twenty-three (23) feet in

height. In addition, all structures on Lot 1shall be
no more than one story.
Section 2 . Findings. The City Council hereby finds that:
a. Due to changes in circumstances, Condition 11 of
the Conditions of Approval for the Lands of Oshima is
no longer appropriate unless modified, because it now
appears possible for a two-storey house to be
constructed within the twenty-three (23) foot limit.
b. These modifications do not impose any additional
burden on the present fee owners of the affected
property.
c. These modifications do not alter any right, title
or interest in the affected property.
d. These modifications conform to the provisions of
Government Code Section 66474 in that these
modifications do not render the Lands of Oshima
inconsistent with the General Plan, and do not alter
the design, improvements, physical site or public
easements of the Lands of Oshima in any way.
Section 3 . Environmental Review. This resolution is exempt
from environmental review under the California Environmental
Quality Act (Class 5) .
Section 4 . Recordation. The Council hereby directs the
City Clerk to record a certified copy of this Resolution in the
Office of the County Recorder of the County of Santa Clara.
REGULARLY PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of
November , 1991.
