RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
ORDERING THE SUMMARY VACATION OF A TRAIL EASEMENT
RECITALS
A. It is the intent of the Council of the Town of Los Altos
Hills to vacate an existing trail easement on the real property
("PROPERTY") in the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa
Clara, State of California known as "Lot 1, Tract No. 6297 Saddle
Mountain Estates" on the map filed July 10, 1978, in Book 422 of
Maps at pages 17 to 22, inclusive, Santa Clara County Records as
shown on Exhibit A attached hereto.
B. The Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills intends to
vacate such existing trail easement according to the procedures
set forth in California Streets and Highways Code Division 9,
Part 3, Chapter 4 (Section 8330 et seq. ) and to relocate the
trail easement on the PROPERTY as shown on Exhibit A attached
hereto.
C. From all evidence submitted to the Council of the Town
of Los Altos Hills it is found that such existing trail easement
as described in Exhibit B attached hereto is not necessary and
should be relocated as shown on Exhibit A attached hereto for
present or prospective public use as a trail for equestrian,
pedestrian or bicycle purposes.

NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
RESOLVE as follows:
1. This vacation is made under the authority of and in
accordance with California Streets and Highways Code Chapter 4 of
Part 3 of Division 9 of California Code commencing at § 8330 et
seq.
2. The existing trail easement to be vacated is more
particularly described in Exhibit B and shown on Exhibit A, which
Exhibits are attached hereto and incorporated herein.
3.. This vacation is conditioned upon the owners of the
Property relocating the trail easement as shown on Exhibit A
attached hereto and granting the same to the Town of Los Altos
Hills for the benefit of the public.
4. The Council finds that this vacation has no
environmental impact.
5. Upon satisfaction of the conditions prescribed in
Section 3, if any, the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of
this resolution attested by the City Clerk under seal to be
recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Santa Clara.
6,. From and after the date of recordation of this
resolution, such existing trail easement shall be considered
vacated.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
TRAIL EASEMENT TO BE VACATED
That certain real property situate in the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of
Santa Clara, State of California being a portion of Lot 1, as shown on that
certain map entitled, "Tract No. 6297 Saddle Mountain Estates" , which map was
filed on July 10, 1978 in Book 422 of Maps at pages 17 to 22, inclusive, Santa
Clara County Records described as follows; ^ '
Beginning at the intersection of the northeasterly line of Saddle Mountain
Drive with the southeasterly line of Lot 1 as said lot and Drive are shown upon
said map;
Thence from said point of beginning along the southeasterly line of said Lot
North 60° 00' 00" East 325.07 feet to a line parallel with and distant westerly
20.00 feet measured at right angles from the easterly line of said Lot;
Thence along said parallel line North 15° 22' 20" West 10..34. feet to a line
parallel with and distant northwesterly 10.00 feet measured-at -right angles
from the southeasterly line of said- ' Lot;

Thence 'along said parallel line South 60° 00' 00" West 327.83 feet to the
northeasterly line of Saddle Mountain Drive;
Thenceisoutheasterly along a non tangent curve in said line, concave to the
southwest from a point with a radial bearing of North 58° 15' 49" East with a
radiuslof 330 feet, through a central angle of 1° 44' 11" for an arc length of
10.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
