These included the following: a set of new PCs connected by ethernet was selected and installed; a parcel data base system was acquired that included County data and that would be augmented by staff to incorporate essential data on every parcel in Town; a new finance package was reviewed and approved by various interested parties; and the Town's ordinances were scanned into digital form from had copy and spell checked. C. Discussion of specific items brought up by committee and Council Members or introduced in the goals and objectives Chairman Scott commented that at the most recent committee meeting they had discussed the goals for the coming year. They arrived at the conclusion that perhaps the best course was to stop and reevaluate the programs now in place such as the parcel data base, new computer system and June 19, 1997 Adjourned City Council Meeting new finance system and determine how well they were working and if changes were needed. In line with this approach, Chairman Scott warned against pulling staff in too many different directions.
