City Council Meeting
Wednesday, April 19,1995,5:00 P.M.
Council Chambers 26379 Fremont Road
1. CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Dauber called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to
order at 5:10 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall.
Present: Mayor Dauber and Councilmembers Casey, Hubbard,
Johnson and Siegel
Absent: None
Staff: City Manager Jeff Peterson and City Clerk Pat Dowd
Press: None
The following members of the Safety Committee were also present: Berin
Fank, Chairman, and members Bob Hall and Ralph Vetterlein.
2. SAFETY COMMITTEE
A. Acceptance of List of 1994-95 Accomplishments
B. Goals and Objectives for 1995-96
C. Discussion of specific items brought up by committee and
Council Members or introduced in the goals and objectives
D. Council approval of 1995-96 Goals and Objectives
Council and the members of the Safety Committe discussed the goals and
objectives of the committee for 95-96 and their accomplishments for the past
year.

Adjourned Regular Meeting
The accomplishments for 1994 included the following: organized a Safety
Awareness Meeting in September for the neighborhood coordinators and
Block Captains; drafted an abbreviated version of the Emergency Handbook;
addressed traffic safety issues at the Little League Fields and Town
Corporation Yard; published articles on mailbox bombings and mountain
lions; sent red and green flags to residents for use in emergencies; developed
guidelines regarding proper home address signage; and worked with
Pathways Recreation and Parks Committee on issues such as bicyle safety.
The goals and objectives for 1995-96 included the following: improve
emergency vehicle access roads; update neighborhood coordinators list and
ham radio operators list and provide training for new members; complete
emergency radio operating system and train new HAM personnel; landscape
propane tank, generator and dumpster at Town Hall; work with Fire
Department on weed abatement and clear home address signage; and hold a
mock Town emergency.
Council thanked the Committee for their contributions to the Town and
congratulated them for their accomplishments in 1994.

There being no further new or old business to discuss, the City Council
Meeting was adjourned at 6:10 p.m.
