A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS
HILLS HRDERINH THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF
A CERTAIN STREET EASEMENT UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE
'PUBLIC STREETS, H H3H!tl J !i AND SERVICE EASEMENTS VACATION
LAW"% SECTION 0300, et seq., OF THE STREETS AND
• HIOHAYS CODE OF CALIFORNIA
ORDER OF VACATION AND ABANDONMENT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, County
of Santa Clara, State of California, that
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hill., under and
pursuant to the provisions of the "Public Streets, Highways and Service
Easements Vacation Law", Section 8300, et seq., Government Code, did on the
1st day of April, 1987, pass and adopt Resolution No. 26-87 declaring the
intention of said City Council to vacate and abandon a portion of a certain
street easement described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference, and the name by which it is commonly known being
Ursula Lane; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the 6th day of May, 1907, in the
Council Chamber, Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California,
• whereat said proposed vacation and abandonment were duly considered, and
said matter subriiitted to said City Council for action; and

WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was duly given and made in the time..
form, manner and by publication and posting, in the mariner required in the
aforementioned Statute, and proof thereof is on file with said City Council;
and
WHEREAS, no protests, either written or oral, were filed with or
received -by said City Council respecting said proposed vacation and
abandonment, and the Planning Commission having submitted its report and
recommendation;
AND, said City Council being advised in said matter finds that, from all
the evidence submitted, the above-described portion of a certain street
easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes by
reason of the following findings of fact;
1. Another portion of Ursula Lane and Edgerton Road were created after
the street easement proposed to be abandoned was provided to the Town.
2. The present Ursula Lane and Edgerton Road serve as existing access
roads to slack Mountain Road for the properties which were originally to
have been served by the street easement proposed to be abandoned.
AND, the City Council further finds that the public convenience and
necessity do not require the reservation of any portion of the street
easement described in Exhibit "A"

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by said City
Council that the foregoing Recitals are true and correct.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by said City Council that the portion of the
street easement described in Exhibit "A" is hereby vacated and abandoned as
being unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes, and that the
easement and right herein vacated and abandoned is described in Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
REGULARLY passed and adopted this 6th day of May, 1987.

All that certain real property situate in the Town of Los Altos Hills,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, described as follows:
Portion of Lot 21 of the Taaffe Partition, as per map recorded on June 25,
1894 in Book H of Maps, pages 76 and 77, and more particularly described
as follows:
BEGINNING at station 108 in the center line of Elena Avenua as shown upon
the Map hereinabove referred to; thence from said point of beginning North
87° 22' 30" West 16.43 feet; thence tangent to a course North 7° 50' 02"
East along a curve to the right, with a radius of 130.0 feet through an angle
of 40° 28' 12" an arc distance of 91.82 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence continuing tangent to the last named. curve, along a curve to the
-- -- 1 eft- with--a-radius=of 20:0 feet!-through--an angle—of 69° 55' 14" an arc
distance of 24.41 feet; thence North 21° 37' West 73.98 feet; thence North
8° 25' West 486.24 feet; thence South 88° 23' 14" East 60.93 feet; thence
South 8° 25' East 468.69 feet; thence, South 21° 3T East 55.49 feet;
thence tangent to the last named course along a curve to the left, with a
radius of 20.0 feet, through an angle of 92° 40' 30" an arc distance of
32.38 feet to a point of the Northerly right-of-way line of Elena Avenue;
thence South 65° 47 30" West 65.56 feet; thence tangent to the last
named course along a curve to the left, with a radius of 130.0 feet, through
an angle of 17°24' 16" an acr distance of 36.40 feet to the first point of
beginning.
