RESOLUTION NO. 7-86 68623
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE TOWN OF LOS
ALTOS HILLS ACKNOWLEDGES RECEIPT OF AN OFFER BY BAS HOMES, INC. ,
1 TO DEDICATE A PORTION OF THREE FORKS LANE, AND ORDERING
RECORDATION OF OFFER TO DEDICATE PROPERTY FOR
PUBLIC STREET AND ROAD PURPOSES
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of the Town of Los
Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that
WHEREAS, BAS HOMES, INC. , a California Corporation heretofore
has executed and delivered to the City of the Town of Los Altos
Hills (herein called the "TOWN") , an "Offer to Dedicate Property
For Public Street and Road Purposes=' (herein called "OFFER") con-
cerning Three Forks Lane; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the TOWN is not prepared to accept
the offer of dedication at the present time,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows :
1. The City Council acknowleges receipt of the offer.
2 . The City Clerk of the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills
hereby is directed and ordered to cause the offer to be recorded in
the Office of the Recorder of the County of Santa Clara.
REGULARLY passed and adopted this 15th day of January, 1986 .

OFFER TO DEDICATE PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC STREET AND ROAD PURPOSES
BAS HOMES, INC. , a California Corporation,
1. Hereby warrants that it constitutes the sole owner of the
hereinafter described real property; and
2. Hereby irrevocable offers for itself, its successors and
assigns to dedicate to the CITY OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS, a
Municipal Corporation of the State of California, or its successor
agencies and assigns, forever a right of way and Easement for the
construction, reconstruction, and maintenance of streets and street
improvements, including but not limited to drainage facilities ,
storm sewers, water mains and pipes, sanitary sewer and other public
utilities in, over, across, and upon the following described real
property situate in the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills, County
of Santa Clara, State of California, to wit:
Beginning at the most Southwesterly corner of Parcel
2 as shown upon that certain Parcel Map recorded in
Book 216 of Maps .:at Page 4.6., Records of said Santa
Clara County;
Thence North 35° 38 ' 10" East along the Northwesterly
line of said Parcel 2 a distance of 12.43 feet to a
point in a line that is parallel with and 10 . 00 feet
Northerly as being measured at right angles from the
Southerly line of said Parcel 2.
Thence North 89° 12 ' 16" East along last mentioned
parallel line a distance of 246. 88 feet;
Thence North 85° 31 ' 26" East a distance of 51. 94
feet to a point in the Easterly line of said Par-
cel 2;
Thence South 4° 28 ' 34" East along last mentioned
Easterly line a distance of 30. 00 feet to the most
Southeasterly corner of said Parcel 2;
Thence South 85° 31' 26" West along a Southerly
line of said Parcel 2 a distance of 32. 90 feet
to an angle point therein;
Thence North 4° 28 ' 34" West a distance of 20. 00
feet to a point in a Southerly line of said Par-
cel 2;

Thence South 85° 31' 26" West along a Southerly
line of said Parcel 2 a distance of 19. 36 feet :
to an angle point therein;
Thence Continuing along. a Southerly line of
said Parcel 2 South 89° 12 ' 16" West a 'distance
of 254.58 feet to the point of beginning,
such dedication :to:be, accepted-orilywhen:.the City-Counc.il, . or its
successor agencies and assigns • adopt and record in the Office of
the Recorder Of the County of Santa Clara a resolution specifically
accepting as a CITY maintained road such offered right of way, such
acceptance including any- or all of the purposes set forth herein,
and which Resolution shall be adopted pursuant to Streets and High-
ways Code Section 1806 of the State of California.
Until such Resolution is recorded, the City of' the Town. of Los
Altos Hills shall not be responsible for and shall incur no liabili-
ty- wi•.th respect to such offered right of way or any improvement
thereon, or any 'maintainance thereof.
The recordation of this instrument shall not and will not con-
stitute acceptance of the 'within offer to dedicate.
If any change in alignment, - length or width of roadway approved
by the County of Santa Clara or its successor agencies results in
vacation of any part of the real property dedicated herein, such
vacation shall terminate the .dedication- as to. the part vacated.
The previsions hereof shall inure to the benefit of and be
binding upon the heirs, successors, assigns and personal representa-
tives of the respective parties .hereto.
