HomeMy WebLinkAbout29-86 IS • .. 111 • RESOLUTION NO. 29-86 an FEB.2 41987 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS ACCEPTING A CERTAIN PATHWAY AND TRAIL EASEMENT, AND CONSERVATION EASEMENT DEED WHEREAS, heretofore the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills has received a certain Pathway and Trail Easement and Conservation Easement Deed executed by George A. Korpontinos and Lorraine A. Korpontinos; and WHEREAS, the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills desires to accept the above-described Pathway and Trail Easement and Conserva- tion Easement Deed, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: ' 1. That the Pathway and Trail Easement and Conservation Ease- ment Deed executed by George A. Korpontinos and Lorraine A. Korpon- tinos , be and the same hereby is accepted by the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills. 2 . The City Clerk of the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills hereby is directed and ordered to cause the Pathway and Trail Ease- ment and Conservation Easement Deed described above to be recorded in the' Office of the Recorder of the County of Santa Clara. REGULARLY passed and adopted this 5th day of March, 1986 . MAYOR ATTEST: . CITY CLERK PATHWAY AND TRAIL EASEMENT, AND CONSERVATION EASEMENT DEED GEORGE A. KORPONTINOS and LORRAINE A. KORPONTINOS, husband and wife dealing with their community property, hereby grants to the CITY OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS, a Municipal Corporation of the State of California, each of the following: 1. A PATHWAY AND TRAIL EASEMENT for equestrians and pedestrians, together with ingress thereto and egress therefrom and the right to install, maintain, repair, protect and replace, a PATHWAY AND TRAII, thereon together with appurtenances thereto, in, on, over, across, along and upon the following described real property situate in the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California, to wit: An easement over a portion of Lot 1, Tract 3844, Recorded in Book 211 of Mpas at Page 10, Santa Clara County Records, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the most northerly corner of said Lot 1, thence, S. 9° 04' 00" E., 24.37 feet along the northeasterly line of said Lot 1, thence leaving last said line, S. 46. 05' 00" W., 70.01 feet to an angle point, thence S. 43° 23' 00" W., 362.4,%feet to a point, thence No. 68° 34' 28" W., 10.79 feet to an angle point, thence S. 43° 23' 00" W., 120.67 feet to a point in the northeasterly side -line of Altamont Road as shown on said Map, thence along last said side -line, N. 651 10' 40" W., 10.56 feet to a point thence N. 431 23' 00" E., 490.41 feet along the northwesterly line of said Lot 1 to an angle point, thence N. 46° 05' 00" E., 85.00 feet to the Point of Beginning. 2. A CONSERVATION EASEMENT, together with ingress thereto and egress therefrom, in, on, over, across, along and upon the following described parcels of real property situate in the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California, to wit: Parcel One: A conservation easement over a portion of Lot 1, Tract 3844, Recorded in Book 211 of Maps at Page 10, Santa Clara County Records, and more particularly described as follows: Begin- ning at the most easterly corner of said Lot 1, in the north- westerly side -line of Taaffe Road (30' wide - one-half street,) as shown on said map, thence S. 520 17' 20" W., 73.81 feet along last said line to an angle point, thence S. 491 06' 00" W., 84.00 feet to a point thence leaving last said side- line No. 200 12' 32" W., 19.9.5 feet, to a point, thence N. 38° 30' 00" E., 138.00 feet to a point, thence N. 451 00' 00" E., 34.00 feet to a point in the northeasterly line of said Lot 1, thence S. 200 24' 00" E., 54.00 along last said line to the Point of Beginning. Korpontinos and Lorraine A. Korpontinos or either of them, or their successors or assigns, shall not conduct or permit or allow any uses, grading, clearing, tree removal or structures to be erected.
