The amended bill further creates an inefficient government bureaucracy that is dominated by the beverage industry that has spent millions of dollars opposing past efforts to pass the Bottle Bill, and is not necessary under traditional deposit laws. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town of Los Altos Hills strongly urges the California Legislature to pass the original bottle bill and not an ineffective substitute. REGULARLY passed and adopted this 5th day of March, 1986. Mayor ATTEST: ,"" City Clerk
