II, Side I, 001-107 Mayor van Tamelen called the Special Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:20 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. A. ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Present: Mayor van Tamelen and Councilmembers Dronkert, Fuhrman and Tryon Absent Councilmember Rydell Staff: City Clerk Pat Dowd B. INTERVIEWS AND APPOINTMENTS TO STANDING COMMITTEES: The following residents addressed the Council stating their in- terest in the community and their willingness to serve on the Town's committees: Nancy Perakis, 26555 Aric Lane, Toni Casey, 23600 Ravensbury, Tracy and Liane Strub, 27765 Lupine Road, Mrs. Sandra Tanaka, 26020 Newbridge and Mr. David Murray, 25484 Adobe Lane. MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Dronkert, seconded by Fuhrman and passed unanimously by all members present to appoint Marcia Vincent to the Community Relations Committee for a term of two years. MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Tryon, seconded by Dronkert and passed unanimously by all members present to appoint Toni Casey to the Finance Committee for a term of two years. MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Fuhrman, seconded by Tryon and passed unanimously by all members present to appoint Tracy and Liane Strub and Sandra Tanaka to the Pathways, Recreation and Parks Committee for terms of two years. *see below MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Tryon, seconded by Fuhrman and passed unanimously by all members present to appoint David Murray to the Safety Committee for a term of two years.
