I, Side II, 100-210 Mayor van Tamelen called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. A. ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANM: Present: Mayor van Tamelen and OmmcilMUIbe-s Allison, Perkins and Proft Absent: Councilmenber Hillestad Staff: City Manager Ann Hinshaw, City Attorney Frank Gillio and City Clerk Pat Dowd B. APPROVAL OF MIIIOTFS: ril 4 1984 MOTION SEODN)ED AMID CARRIED: Moved by Allison, seconded by Perkins and passed unanimously by all members present to approve the April 4, 1984 Council minutes. C. RESOLUTION # declaring canvass of returns and results of General Municipal Electron MILTON SECONDED AMID CARR=: booed by Allison, seconded by Proft and passed unaninously by all members present to adopt Resolution #31-84 declaring canvass of returns and results of General Municipal Election D. PRESENTATION: Mayor van Tamelen presented Counclinmbers Perkins and Proft with framed pictures of the 'Town's seal in appreciation of their service on the Council. ••ia •a r I •• I is r w• Proft noted his pleasure in working with the new Council and camiented on the spirit of cooperation in working for the Town. In addition Councilman Proft thanked staff for their service during his time on the Council. Perkins noted the interaction of the people involved in working for the Tuan and camiented on his confidence that all would go well for the Toon. F. Vacation of office of Mayor and Mayor Pro Tempore M:YTION SECONDED AND CAFddEI: Moved by van Tamelen, seconded by Allison and passed unanimously by all members present to vacate the office of Mayor and Mayor Pro Tempers. 2. Flection of Mayor: MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Dronkert, seconded by Fuhnman and passed unanimously by all members present to nominate Allison as Mayor. NOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Dronkert, seconded by Fuhrnan and passel unanimously by all members present to cast a white ballot vote electing Allison as Mayor for a tern of one year. 3. Election of Mayor Pro TeTpore MYTICN SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Puhrman, seconded by van Tamelen and passed unanimously by all members present to nominate Dronkert as Mayor Pro Te non MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by van Tamelen, seconded by F1,hnoan and passed unanimously by all menbeis present to cast a white ballot vote electing Dronkert as Mayor Pro Tecpore. Mayor Allison presented van Tamelen with her gavel mounted on a plaque from the Council and a silver tray from the residents of the Toon. Both of these presentations were in donor of her achievements over the past year as Mayor. van Tamelen expressed her thanks for the support she had received over the last year during her term as Mayor.
