Mayor van Tamelen called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to order
at 7:10 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Tian Hall.

B. BUDGET STUDY SESSION:
The City Manager Presented a budget message which included an update on the prelim-
inary Capital Improvement Budget, budget requests fon the Pollution Control Cc mittee.

Council discussed their approach to the budget discussion and to the matter Of the
Matadero Creek Subdivision Funds. Perkins noted that Council's intent was to review
the document before them as an interim budget with adoption of a final b budget

the budget and it was hoped the final adoption would take place about mid-August.
PASSED BY CONSENSUS: To authorize the City Manager_ to place the Matadero Creek
Subdivision monies in those finds which she determines appropriate.
