I, Side I, 004-254 Mayor Perkins called the Special Meeting of the City Council to order at 5:35 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Town Hall. A. ROLL CALL AMID PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Present: Mayor Perkins and Counci]menbers Allison, Proft and van Tamelen Absent: Councilwoman Hillestad Staff: City Attorney Frank Gillio and City Clerk Pat Dowd Press: Florence Pallakoff, Los Altos Town Crier; Mary Duerwald, Peninsula Times Tribune; ED Herring, San Jose Mercury B. MATADERD CREEK SUBDIVISION - OFFERS ON LATS G 1. Lot #19 Jacqueline Wolfe, Fox & Carskadon, noted that the list price of this lot was $285,000. An offer had been received for $235,000; the Town had countered with an offer of $260,000 and the buyer had countered with an offer of $245,000. MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Allison, seconded by van Tamelen and passed unanimously by all members present to counter the counter-offer with a price of $256,500 for Lot 019. 2. Lot #2 Jacqueline Wolfe, Fox & Carskadon, noted that the list price for lot #2 was $220,000. An offer had been received for $190,000. Enid Dekkert, Cornish & Carev, addressed the Council on behalf of her client and asked that if their offer were rejected, a counter offer be made. NUTION SEDONDED Atli) CARRIED: Moved by Allison, seconded by Proft and passed unani- mously by all members present to reject the offer for Lot #2 and to offer a counter offer including the standard conditions as stated in the addendum, list price of $220,000, 148 and 108 discount for all cash offer. 3. Lot #7 Jean Cleaver, Fox & Carskadon, noted that the list price for Let #7 was $200,000 ,and an offer had been received for $150,000. CITY COUNCIL bumNES - October 21, 1982 B. Lot #7 (continued) MMCN SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Allison, seconded by van Tamelen and passed unanimously by all members present to offer a counter-offer with a price of $185,000 and the deletion of #5 of the addendum to purchase agreement concerning subordination. MOTION SEOJMDED AMID CARRIED: Moved by Proft, seconded by Allison and passed unani- mously by all members present to hold a special meeting of the Council on Monday, October 25, 1982 at 1:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers to consider offers on lots at Matadero Creek and to hold a closed session for personnel and litigation matters.
