I, 211-405 Mayor Keith Brown called the Adjourned Meeting of the City Council to order at 5:02 PM In the Council Chambers of Town Hall. A. ROLL CALL 8 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Present: Mayor Brown, Councilmembers Cheney, Hillestad and Proft. Councilmember McReynolds arrived at 5:05 PM. Absent: None Staff: City Manager Robert Crowe, City Attorney Frank GIIIIo, Deputy City Clerk Susan Buttler. Press: None B. CURRENT BUSINESS: I. Consideration of the acquisition by negotiation and, if necessary, by condemnation certain described property for the Improvement of the East Branch of Barron Creek. The City Manager stated that, originally, there had been three properties In- volved where the Town was unable to obtain deeds of easement for the project named. However, only one property owner could not now be contacted. The City Attorney verified the procedures followed In notifying all those con- cerned and correct steps to be followed In this action. MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Mayor Brown, seconded by Councilman McReynolds and carr ed unanimously to adopt Resolution #1081 of Necessity of the City Council of the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills approving and authorizing condemnation for public use of specific property. C. NEW BUSINESS: Councilman Proft requested that the City Attorney prepare an Ordinance pro- hibiting organized jogging on public streets without a permit. Thereafter, he also questioned the compliance of Adobe Creek Country Club to the condi- tions of their Conditional Use Permit, the legality of the "Pro Shop" under construction and what inspection and/or stop measures that may be invoked. Discussion followed on Intent versus written content of this C.U.P., with final direction to the City Manager to research further both In existing files and In on-site inspections. The City Manager cited a need to include AssessorV5 Parcel Nos. 336-27-001 and 336-25-001 in the Urban Service Area to provide for future annexation. MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: It was then moved by Councilman McReynolds, seconded by Councilman Proft and passed unanimously to: Direct the City Manager to file an application to LAFCO for Inclusion in the Los Altos Hills Urban Service Area Assessor's Parcel Nos. 336-27-001 and 336-25-001.
